Godt shifted on the bed.

He couldn't fall asleep. He kept remembering what happened at the service station a week ago.

Those lips shouldn't have felt so soft like rose petals. The taste shouldn't be so fresh and addictive. He licked his lips as if he could still find the remnant of taste that may still linger there. There's nothing anymore. It happened a week ago.

The flushed face that stared up at him with a bewildered expression shouldn't have been so appealing.

And the eyes!

He'd never seen such expressive naked eyes. The desire, want, arousal were written so clearly on them.

Not to mention the answering hardness he felt when they subtly grinded on each other.

Stop!

He has to draw the line somewhere.

The kid is fourteen for fucks sake! He shouldn't feel anything sexual towards that annoying pest. He'd been fighting with the brat ever since they met. How can he long for those lips which used to hurl insults at him?

Fuck!

He felt like a dirty old man, a pedophile and a pervert who took advantage of a defenseless innocent boy. Except Godt is neither old nor a pervert. Besides, the kid is hardly innocent.

He needed to get his head straight. In a few weeks he'd be flying to the city. His two weeks initial basketball training starts before the orientation at the campus. That's all he wanted from life. To play basketball and get as far away from his home and his meddling dad as soon as he can. And be independent.

He needed to put the incident behind and focus on his life. Future.

Maybe he should confide in Tee.

Hey man. You sleepin?

Tee - Nope. What is it?

Can I call?

Tee - Sure.

Godt thumbed Tee's number and held the phone over his ear.

"What's up?"

Tee answered on the first ring.

"Nothing's up."

"Just wanna ask something."

"Go ahead."

"I feel bad about something I did."

"Okay?"

"I feel like I should apologize and move on from the incident."

"Wait!"

"First tell me what you did."

"I tackled that kid the other day. And I thought maybe I should say sorry to him. Would it be too weird?"
