Bas felt someone's eyes on him. He got up and put Rocky back on the grass. The little thing dashed away, expecting Bas to follow him but his attention was already stolen by an unusual sight.

P'Godt stood, leaning against his bike, right in front of his house. Coincident? Probably not.

"P'Godt?" He got to his feet and brushed his clothes. He must look like hell. He didn't want P'Godt to see him like this but they both have seen each other in worse conditions than this. "I didn't know you were back." He reached the gate with a hesitant smile. Was it strange that he kind of missed messing around with this big guy? Since their last encounter, the dynamics were somehow shifted between them. He felt it and he knew that Godt felt it too.

He just didn't know what to expect anymore.

"Oh..." Godt smiled, approaching the gate. "I came a few days ago." It still threw him off, seeing Godt smile at him. But he liked it. He liked P'Gidt's smile.

"Were you going somewhere or...." Bas trailed off. He didn't want to be presumptuous that Godt actually came to see him.

"Actually, I've been going up and down this lane, looking for your house," Godt said removing his bag and opening it. Bas felt queasy inside his belly. This big guy really did come to see him. Though they tried to deliberately ignore it, there's something unspoken between them. It's up to both of them whether to let it happen or forget about it.

"Would you like to come inside?" Bas blurted out. He didn't want Godt to leave quickly. Besides, It's Songkran.

"I don't want to bother your family..." Godt scratched his head awkwardly. "I brought something for you and I just wanted to give it to you."

He remembered me. Bas's heart fluttered.

"Oh, please, come in, Phi?" Bas offered a welcoming smile. "My mom is really cool. She'll love to have you." With that Bas opened the gate so that Godt could roll the bike inside.

"If you are sure...." Godt said, looking at the house apprehensively. Bas had rarely seen this guy act as anything but a confident jerk. It's kind of endearing to see him anxious. Over six foot tall but adorably flustered P'Godt is a picture to be imprinted on the mind, Bas thought with a secret smile.

"Don't worry. My mom and I are best friends. She's more like my big sister." Bas grinned leading the way. "And she's a really fun person to hang out with. Not like a parent at all." Bas led the way.

"That's cool," Godt replied, a bit relieved, stepping into a small but nicely decorated house.

He didn't even know why he came here, looking for Bas. It's true that he bought that Cap and the t-shirt with Bas in his mind. But he actually didn't plan on giving them to Bas himself. He originally thought of leaving them with Tee so he could pass them on to the kid. Yet, ever since Tee mentioned that Bas might be thinking of him too, he couldn't let go of that thought. He wanted to see for himself.
