Copter pushed the earbuds in and closed his eyes as the familiar song started to play. He'd been listening to it on repeat ever since his birthday. P'Kim had a nice voice but more than anything he had put his everything into covering this song, heart and soul.

Kimmon had pressed a flash drive into Copter's palm before disappearing into the cold night that day, not before kissing his lips softly one last time. Rolling onto his back Copter dragged his fingertips along his lips, trying to summon the feeling of Kimmon's lips on them again.
It had been a brief, shallow kiss but Copter could not stop thinking about it every time he lay awake at night not being able to fall asleep like right now. He would plug in his earphones and listen to Kimmon's voice singing the most romantic love song he'd ever heard.

Copter may be biased because it's Kimmon's soft, ardent voice singing the lyrics into his ears through the earbuds.
The school term is coming to an end with the approach of the Thai new year but that didn't excite him at all.
What excited him most was Kimmon's birthday on April 1st. And he had big plans.
