Mary Saotome || Part 2

2nd POV

"Mary!! You're finally here!" You exclaimed excitedly, the same for the past few days whenever you see her. You both have been hanging out more since the day you saw each other back at the empty classroom.

With Yumeko walking behind Mary along with Suzui, they teased Mary without making it obvious to you. Mary looked like a tomato at this point. The blonde turns to her friends and glared at them, it was pointless to do so since they weren't scared or anything at all.

"Hey." Mary replied and sits beside you before grabbing her bento box. Mary had introduced you to Yumeko and Suzui last week and both their reactions were so funny. Mary Saotome? The merciless gambler? A friend? It was so new to them but they were proud of her to communicate with someone without being pissed off. She looked so calm and happy when she introduced you. And Yumeko who notices small things, noticed the way Mary blushes whenever you get too close to her. That's when she concluded that Mary likes you, and you do too.

"Classes are cut short till 3 pm for some reason." Suzui states before munching on her food and Yumeko frowns upon hearing the news. She wanted to gamble for hours but lits up when she remembered she can visit her sister and could stay there longer. She got her priorities straight. Except she wasn't.

With a nod, you eat the last spoonful of rice before cleaning the little mess you made while eating and excusing yourself.

Mary excused herself a few minutes later and Yumeko raises a brow as she stares and the blondes leaving figure. Something was definitely going on between them. Yumeko shooks off and continue eating, it was none of her business afterall.

Mary opens the door of the empty classroom, the same classroom where you both had met. She looks at you with a smile and drags a chair beside you, looking at the surroundings outside the window.

"For you," You hand her a plastic of chocolate with a ribbon tied around to secure it. She looks confused but takes it, thanking you as she opens it.

"What's this for?" She asks, fingers playing with the ribbon as she stares at it.

"It's Valentines Day silly," You chuckled when her eyes widened 2 times bigger. Her cheeks rosy red as she avoids making contact with your eyes.

You just confessed to her.

"I'm sorry I couldn't bring chocolates for you, I- I forgot." She grumbles.

"Oh my, does that mean you like me too~?" You teased Mary, her figure becoming smaller as time passed.

"I- Ugh, Of course you idiot!"

You laughed at her state and pecks her cheeks.

Yumeko and Suzui were outside the classroom the whole time and did a high five to each other.

"That's why Mary acts weird around her.." Suzui trailed off.

Yumeko rolls her eyes.

"Suzui, it was obvious even Kirari knew," She giggles and Suzui scratches the back of his head awkwardly. Maybe he was too oblivious about it.

But they were happy to both you and Mary finally confessing. They took long enough
But you just had to find the right timing.

And Valentines was the perfect time.

A/n : Ik valentines day was almost like a month ago but this just popped out into my mind and it's not too late to write about it, right?
