Mary Saotome

2nd POV

It's been almost a week since you first fell ill, and Mary was always there for you no matter what. Mary frowned upon hearing you cough once more. Three days prior, both of you had previously seen the doctor, but nothing seemed to be improving with the medicines your doctor had gave you. Mary, being the kind person she is, made the decision to skip school for many days so she could take care of you.

Knowing that you are the reason she needs to drop out of school makes you feel guilty.

You spoke while wiggling your fingers and averting your eyes from hers, saying, "You know you can just go to school, I can take care of myself." She sighs and grabs your hands while her eyes soften.

"I know, but I can't help worrying, and I don't want you to be here sick all alone, plus what if someone comes in here to hurt you?" she argued. She hadn't brushed it after waking up, leaving her blonde hair in a mess.

After a moment of hesitation, you smile and turn to face her. As you do, you notice the bags under her eyes, which worry you. She didn't get much sleep the night before, as you were aware.

She gives your hand a peck and then nods, "Now, wait here while I prepare breakfast for us, okay?" She then gets up to go to the kitchen downstairs.

Since they both worked till late at night and were aware of your relationship with Mary, your parents weren't present. And they were so accepting and receptive that they treated Mary like a member of the family right away.

You missed class, but Mary would never have allowed you to go given how ill you were. You were still frail.

As well as tea, Mary had prepared brunch of bacon and eggs. She put the meal on the plate, then put it on the tray so she could transport it up to your room more easily. She opens the door with her knee and when she approaches your e/c ones, her lips immediately begin to smile.

Knowing that another day will be spent in the company of your sweetheart at home alone, you return the smile.

A/N : Hi everyone it's me again, I hooe you enjoyed this short chapter of Mary. Since it's been a while since I made a oneshot of her, why not make a new one now? because it's weekend, I'll try and think of scenarios to make so I could keep up with this!

I'm also wondering if I should write a whole story, now just a one-shot.. What do you guys think?
