Yumeko Jabami

2nd POV

There she is. Jabami Yumeko. The girl who was crazy enough to put their life in line just so she could gamble. Her life was dedicated with gambling and that was no suprise to you at all. It was a Monday and you just arrived at your classroom in which Yumeko was under also.

Though you both don't talk at all. She was always with Mary and the other guy and well, you are always alone ; having the library as your second home as you want your time there when the bell rings. Having friends makes you tired just by thinking of having one. Sighing, you drop your bag onto the floor next to your table as you sit down and place your head on your arms.

Bored. You look out the birds flying from one direction to another.

"Hi!" An enthusiastic voice comes from nowhere and you paid no attention, not expecting that the greeting was for you to answer back. "Hello? Earth to y/n!" Blinking multiple times, you look up only to see Yumeko ; the last person you would think to come up to you.

"Oh hi." You greet back, awed at how she looked gorgeous close up, she was crouching so her face was right infront of you. "You always caught my attention and I was wondering if we could hang out, just the two of us." She said, excitement taking over her.

Yumeko had liked you since the day you transferred her but luck weren't always good to her as she finds herself always dragged by Mary and Suzui. But now was the time for her to reach up to you and she can finally say that it was the best day indeed.

"I would love that." You respond, slowly recovering from being shock that Yumeko had just invited you for a date, in which it is.

Yumeko smiles before holding your hand as she thanks you for agreeing.

After school, the two of you went to a nearby coffee shop as Yumeko confessed to you. Though it wasn't the most romantic place to do, you returned her your feelings as you both started dating a few days later.
