2nd POV

"Maybe if you weren't so bad at gambling then maybe you wouldn't have become a housepet! Look what happened Y/n! God you're so stupid," Mary shouts at you, you look down in shame. It was true that you lost in a gamble but your debt wasn't too big for you to not be able to pay.

"Mary can we go talk where it's just the two of us? Students are looking," You asked, hoping she would agree with you just this once. The blonde shook her head, refusing to leave and continued insulting you.

"Was I a fool to date you? Yes!"

And that's where you had enough. You walked away from her, not caring if other students were staring at you. It was too much for you to handle, you didn't care if she insulted you ; the last part was your problem. Turning left, you spotted a familiar figure who seemed to notice your presence as well.

"Y/n! There you are, I heard what happened about the gamble," She spoke, walking you somewhere there aren't students. You sigh once you arrived at a place where there weren't students. Yumeko looks at you worriedly, her eyes staring at the tag hanging around your neck.

As she was starting to get lost in her mind, she heard sobbing. Once her eyes landed on your face, tears were streaming down your cheeks as your body shake. Your lips quiver while you tried your best to quiet down your sobs.

With Yumeko being good at comforting, she walks up to you and give you a warm hug. She whispered comforting words into your ear as you listened. All through that your crying had come to an end. When she noticed, she puts her hands on both your cheeks to look at you face to face.

"Oh my," Was all she could say after examining your red face. Being your bestfriend, she frowns, knowing Mary could be the reason why you're crying so much. She was gonna have a talk with the blonde after this. She stayed put and let you hug her until you were feeling better. Once you feel better, you told her what happened. And fear was making its way through your whole body when seeing Yumeko's eues darkened again.

"Thank you yumeko, it was nice to having you by my side," You give her one last tight hug before waving goodbye as you exit the school. Yumeko did the same gesture and once you were gone, her eyes darkened.

She and Mary shared the last period together and she just so knew where she is. Not wasting any time, she walks to where the blonde could possibly be.

She opens the classroom and saw Mary alone. It was perfect timing. Yumeko smiles to herself.

"Mary," She calls out causing the blonde to turn her head to Yumeko's direction. She hums in response and gets back to putting her things in her bag, waiting for Yumeko to say a word.

"What did you do to Y/n again?"

"Lecturing her about what happened to her,"

"Anything else?"

Mary pinched the bridge of her nose and looks st Yumeko with an annoyed expression. "Not at all," She replied. 

"Look if you're here to talk about it then I refuse to talk about the topic, this is none of your business, Jabami." Mary continues, catching Yumeko by surprise as she had called her by her last name. Her smile remained on her lips, she wasn't letting Mary go anytime soon until she apologizes to you after what she did.

"Oh it is Mary, Y/n is basically my sister and I can't let someone get away after hurting her. You see, I still don't get why Y/n chose to stay despite receiving insults from you," As she spoke, she runs her fingers through the tables of the students, eyes not leaving Mary.

Mary scoffed after hearing what Yumeko said,"Hurt her? All I did was tell her about the gambling and losing she played in-"

"I'm pretty sure you told her you were a fool enough to date her, and that hurt her deeply, and I hate you for that Mary. Y/n wasn't one to be hurt by your insults yeah? But after you said that she couldn't stop crying, gosh I can still remember how red her face was after crying," Yumeko explained. That's when it clicked. She really had to go and apologize to you.

And without a word, Mary rushed out of the classroom. Yumeko was left behind, not surprised since she knew this was gonna happen.

Mary runs to the direction of your house and stops infront of the front door, both her hands on her knees for support as she tries to catch her breath. Once she felt okay, she knocks on the door without hesitating.

You heard the knocking and made your face to the door, you were currently making food for yourself since your family was away.

"Mary?" Confused, you stare at her.

"Y/n, I'm sorry.. I was stupid to say that to you, no I'm not a fool to date you. Heck I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world just for having you.. I'm sorry, I really am. Please forgive me."

You listened to her and place a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. You nod and grab her chin,"I could say the same,"

"Gosh I love you so fucking much," She breathes out.

"I love you more," And you both shared a kiss.
