2nd POV

You stab your food with your fork, your appetite slowly vanishing as seconds passed. Your mind had drifted off once again as to what had happened earlier. To start off all you wanted was to maintain a straight high grades in order for you to impress your parents, in which they were in return. Just few days ago you lost focus in studying and ended up having a lower score than the usual. You didn't like it. And it had ruined your day.

You sigh softly, standing up from your seat as placed your remaining food into a container and placed it inside the fridge, might as well heat it up if ever you feel hungry. It was still 6 in the evening and you have so much time before your bedtime. There weren't any school works nor upcoming tests you could study for. Jumping on your bed right away after you washed your face, you grab your phone from the nightstand, checking if there was a notification in which indeed there is.

You open the message app, a smile creeping up your lips once seeing your girlfriend's name at the top.

Did you get home safe?
Make sure to eat and cheer up!
Text me when you're done eating.
5:23 p.m.

Still smiling, you still can't believe you're dating her. Mary Saotome. Oh how much of a softie she really is behind that tough image she had put. It was still a surprise to you.

You immediately texted her back telling her that you ate your dinner already. A few minutes later after you had placed your phone down, your squeaked when you heard your ringtone going off loudly.

It was Mary calling. And ofcourse you immediately slide your finger across the screen to answer the call.

"Hello?" You greet since you were met with silence instead of your girlfriend's voice.

"Oh my Y/n, I was getting some food to eat. I'm sorry." She apologized, you could hear her breathing loudly.

"It's okay honey, why did you call by the way?"

"I was worried about you since you know, back in school." There was a hint of hesitation in her voice and you knew she was hiding something. "Anything else?" You ask.

"I missed your voice.." She trailed off. You exhaled silently, looking at your reflection in the mirror, noticing how your cheeks slowly turned pink.

Mary knew how you study hard just so you could get high scores. And seeing you being off the whole day worried her, she had been with you the whole day and you thanked her for that. She was all you wanted.

You both talked for another 2 hours and went past your bedtime.

"Open the door I'm at your place," She suddenly said. Your eyes widens and got up and ran to the door. Once you open the door you met her loving eyes, welcoming her, you hug her ; as you felt a kiss pressed on your forehead.

You let her stay for the night and you felt safe, contented. The frustration you felt the whole day suddenly vanished into thin air the moment you cuddled her.
