2010
I walk into the Salvatore house, excitement coursing through my blood as I have not seen my brothers since the 90s. I stand in the doorway, "Brothers I'm home!" I yell into the house as I drop my purse on the entrance table.

They both appear in front of me looking grumpy, "Well this Era certainly suits the two of you." I say happily before Damon throws his glass of what I'm assuming is bourbon making me flinch, "No no no! You can't be here Alice!" He rushes at me making me flinch once again. "Out of all the times you could show up you chose now! It's been 20 years!"

I slap him across the face, "Don't yell at me dick! What the hell kind of a greeting is that?! I wanted a hug not a bloody scolding!" I look past Damon and pout at Stefan

I slap him across the face, "Don't yell at me dick! What the hell kind of a greeting is that?! I wanted a hug not a bloody scolding!" I look past Damon and pout at Stefan. He sighs and opens his arms and I run into his, enjoying his bone crushing hug, "I missed you Alice, but Damon is right, you shouldn't have come back, at least not now." I sigh and pull away from the hug. "Why not?" I question. "We have guests over, you need to leave." Damon says in a furious tone before grabbing my forearm. I cringe at the touch before grabbing his wrist and snapping it making his hold on me drop.

"Brother, you are on strike two, I wouldn't try a three." I say completely exasperated by his lack of hospitality. "Now, go get my luggage. And Stefan can introduce me to your lackeys." I say as I skip forward and wrap my arm around Stefan's. As we walk through the halls I question, "Please tell me the library is still a readers wet dream."
