in the car

the ride was silent , only Ran singing along with the radio songs and koko trying to stop himself from kicking ran out of the car , sanzu was driving and aki was in the passenger seat , there was an akward silence between the two of them ,sanzu was not really in the mood while aki's perfect day with kazutora was totally ruined by sanzu's attitude when she tried to talk to him .

even ran and koko noticed but they figured out what's going on , you wouldn't want to see the girl you've been in love with for years , making out with another guy .

"hajime , look" aki decided to break the mood by giving her brother the picture she took with kazutora on the photo booth

hajime looked at the picture for a second then smiled a soft smile , it was so nice to see his sister happy again "you look cute i gue-"

before even finishing his sentence, ran slashed away the picture looking at it too , he was gonna make a joke about it but he was surprisingly serious " wow , aki i've never in my life seen you smile like this"

"what's wrong with my smile , dumbass" she took the picture away from him

"it's genuine" ran mumbled

"let me see" sanzu put his hand in the air waiting for her to hand him the picture , while the other hand is on the steering wheel

"no" she muttered

"what ? why" he looked a little bit furious

"because i don't want you to see it?" she replied with a monotone voice

"give me that" haruchiyo was now trying to take it by force

"no , stop , what the fuck" she glared at him when he took it from her hand then looked at it , he scoffed then gave it back to her with not the most gentle way .

"is that it? why are you hiding it from me? it's not like i haven't seen the two of you making out in front of me" he muttered with a tone which made it sound like he's making fun of them

"you're being fucking mean haruchiyo" she looked at him with an annoyed look clearly not expecting that kind of attitude from him

"well of course , im not gonna stay calm watching the love of my life fucking another guy and smile about it or some shit" he started raising his voice a little bit

"guys cut it out already it's not that big" ran spoke trying to calm them down

"no it is big , because i made it fucking clear , we talked about this a lot of times , so don't you dare make me the bad guy here " she raised her voice too trying to stay as calm as possible

"then don't fucking give me mixed signals , yesterday you're taking care of me and today you're making out with him?"

"you said it yourself , i was TAKING care of you , because you were in no fucking condition to be left alone , as a friend im not gonna leave you there passing out on the floor of the club"

"if only you fucking let me, and left me the hell alone , maybe it would've been a lot much easier than you being around" he stopped talking for a second , the car was on the red light so he stopped driving then glanced at her , regret slowly building up , he let out a shaky breath really wanting to punch himself for what he said .

her mad expression quickly disappeared , and a cold expression appeared , she nodded her head looking straight at his eyes

"fine , i'll stop caring then" she spoke with a cold tone which made him realize how much the words he said is wrong .

he sighed then looked down then started driving again after the green light , he's not even gonna to apologize to her now because she's not gonna listen , so maybe until after their mission.

they were outside of on abandoned building , inside of it , there's three hostages , or to be exact they betrayed bonten so they needed to be punished , the mission was easy , it's like a 15 minutes job , but the bonten executives just love to enjoy their time torturing traitors.

they got out of the car , they were gonna enter the building but they were stopped by aki

"i'll take care of it , stay here" she deadpanned

"what ? no" ran began before getting rudely interrupted

"It's orders" she smiled at him , an innocent smile with her eyes closed
"now wait here for me , i'll be done quickly"

she entered the abandoned building leaving the three bonten members standing next to the car , sanzu sighed and grabbed something from his pocket , it was pills , he was gonna put them in his mouth , but suddenly he earned a kick in the hand from koko , making him drop the pills

"what the fuck?"

"those are not gonna fix things , you fucked up , and you better fix what you've done as soon as possible" koko crushed the pills with his long heels

"i know , you don't have to fucking rubb it into my face" sanzu closed his eyes putting his finger on his temples trying to calm himself down

"her not loving you back doesn't mean you should treat her like this sanzu" ran spoke with a serious tone which is weird because he never took anything seriously

"i know , it's just , " he let out a shaky breath trying so hard not to break completely down " it's so hard for me, to see her with another person"

the other two stayed silent, because they didn't know how to comfort him or how to make him feel better , sometimes silence is the best way to comfort someone , that's exactly what they did .

they waited for about 30 minutes , then they saw a car parked right next to their car , they looked at the person who got out from it , it was just kiyooshi

"aah kiyoo , finally you're with us" ran teased him throwing his arm on his shoulder

"where's m'lady?" he moved away from Ran then looked at koko

"still inside , why are you here ? isn't she coming with us?"koko asked him

"that's what i thought too , but she called me 15 minutes ago"

"ah there she is" ran pointed at aki who was walking out from the building , she got closer to them , and then they saw her state , she was covered in blood , hand and face , not hers though . koko handed her a handkerchief and she took it wiping her hands and face.

"it's done , i'll take my leave now" she threw away the handkerchief after cleaning herself then went to her and kiyooshi's car , they got in the car and then left , leaving koko , sanzu and ran there.

"damn" Ran mumbled
