"oh finally you're here, kazutora-san" kiyooshi spoke approaching them, he glanced at hanma who's face was messed up

"um what happened!" he asked

"old fight i guess , that doesn't matter now , kazutora-kun , go take care of aki , kiyooshi get your fine ass here we need to finish this mess" mayumi pointed at table

kazutora entered aki's room , he walked a little bit then he saw her lying down on the bed holding her phone and mumbling something to herself , he sighed then closed the door and got closer to her.

finally she noticed him then got up a little bit , her eyes were red and puffy , he knew that she cried just now , but they couldn't hear her , neither did she hear the fight between kazutora and hanma , the walls of this penthouse apartment doesn't transfer the sound at all .

"kazu" she mumbled wanting to get closer to him and approach him

"shh , stay there aki , im coming" he took of his jacket and his shoes then got on the bed with her , she just buried her face on his chest snuggling into him , he smiled then wrapped his arms around her

"there , there , im with you now , it's alright love" he patter her back

"kazu , im sorry" she started crying and sniffling immediately , just like a baby , he knew then that she's not in her right mind , he doesn't actually mind taking care of her , he just doesn't want to see her cry

"shh don't apologize , you did nothing wrong my love"

"im sorry for the t-things im g-gonna do" she spoke while sniffling , he didn't hear what she said that well so he just forgot about it

"aki , just sleep you need to rest" he caressed her wet cheeks

"no , give me my phone please" she backed away from his touch, he just sighed then went to grab her phone and handed it to her .

she took it from her then dialed a number and put the phone on her ear , he was confused , who was she calling , a few seconds later he heard her speak , that means the one she's calling answered the phone call

"haruchiyo" she whispered

kazu raised his eyebrows and snatched the phone from her hands , put the call on speaker then handed it back to her , she was high she didn't even react she just took the phone from him and continued looking at it , waiting for him, haruchiyo to reply.

haruchiyo again , that guy , bonten number's 2 , kazutora hated him , he didn't do anything to him but he just hated him , he didn't know why , or so he was just convincing himself that he just hated him there was no reason to explain his hatred. In fact , he knew exactly the reason why he hated him.

he's jealous of him

Yes kazutora was jealous of sanzu , why? because he got to spend 12 years with aki , while kazu was in jail , sanzu was the one who accompanied her , plus he knows that sanzu is in love with aki , so he will take any chances to get closer to her, and kazutora being himself , he's afraid that maybe one day , aki will choose sanzu over him , then leave him , yes he knows that aki loves him too and she will never leave him , but he can't trust himself , he can't stop himself from thinking that he's not enough , that aki is just pitying him , because he's mentally unstable , because he killed his best friend with his own hand .

his thoughts stopped when he heard the other male replying to kazu's girl

"aki sweetheart where are you , you didn't attend the meeting today?"

why is he calling her sweetheart , it's not like she's his girlfriend or something , why is he giving her nicknames?

" haruchiyo im sorry" aki whispered while holding back her sobs

"oi aki , are you okay? are you crying?" haruchiyo's voice was now concerned

"haruchiyo ,i feel so bad when i remember that you're there in pain while im here having the time of my life with my lover , im sorry haruchiyo for giving you false hope , but i just can't stay away from kazu , im sorry for hurting you" she rubbed her temple closing her eyes because her vision was blurry

haruchiyo stayed silent for a few seconds then spoke again "aki i understand , i mean you already made it clear that im never gonna be the one , you don't need to feel guilty or bad about me , just enjoy your life with him aki"

"i know , i want to enjoy the rest of my life being with kazu , but i can't help it sometimes , you're my best friend haru "

"i am aki , thank you for caring about me, you're the only person who really cares , now let's stop this and tell me are you high? because i know the sober aki wouldn't talk about her emotions on a phone call" he chuckled

"..."

"aki?" haruchiyo spoke

kazutora looked at aki who let go of the phone and went to the rest room randomly , he sighed and took the phone , he was gonna hung up , but he took a deep breath and spoke with calm tone

"hello? this is kazutora , don't worry about aki , she took a little bit too much of drugs , im with her right now"

"ah i see , well make sure she's alright , goodbye" haruchiyo ended the call

kazutora put the phone down then went after aki to the bathroom , yep she was throwing up , he sighed then pulled her short white hair back until she was done , he carried her and puts her on the sink washing her face and mouth

"kazu?" she mumbled

"yes darling"

"your hands" she touched his red knuckles with her soft fingers " did you punch someone!"

"don't worry about that aki" he kissed her forehead " you have to go to bed , when you wake up tomorrow , let's talk"

she nodded then rested her head on his chest , he just carried her again to the bed and lied her down there , he got by her side and hugged her from behind , he was the big spoon.

"kazu!"

"hmm?" he mumbled printing a kiss on her shoulder

"do you like maya!" she asked holding back her tears again , she's normally emotionless , she doesn't show any emotions , but now she's acting like a little baby , she'll cry if you just raised your voice at her.

"no , i don't , the only girl i like is you aki , it's always you , my first and forever love" he whispered into her ears with a calm tone making her relax

"thank you for making my last days better" she mumbled before completely falling asleep

he just sighed knowing that she's just hallucinating , he didn't take her words seriously , he kissed her shoulder again then hugged her even more tighter and fell alseep too.
