next morning

she was drinking her coffee with a laptop in front of her , she saw kiyooshi going to the kitchen , he grabbed his coffee too then sat next to her

"you're up early" he mumbled

"good morning to you too kiyo"

"good morning m'lady" he bowed

"so did you get some informations?"she asked him

"yes , but i still need time to find more things , what are you doing?"

"since im bonten's schemer , i have all the evidence and the proof of the crimes that every member of bonten committed , so as you see im trying to get rid of them , not get rid of them , just faking them and clear the other members dossiers , putting all their crimes on me"

"is it really gonna work?" he asked not sure if she can accomplish such things

"kiyo , trust me i planned this for years , i just now got the chance to do it , anyways , tell me about what you found , i think i might help"

"okay so one of akashi's men heard them , akashi and mikey , talking about someone named the reaper , i don't know who the reaper is and i don't even know if it has something to do with you , im still working on it" he mumbled

"wait a minute , the reaper you said?" she put down her laptop with eyes wide open

"yeah , do you know him m'lady?"

"kiyo , new mission , i want you to look for hanma shuji , well technically i want you to gaslight him and make him think that you're looking for him , alright?"

"sure m'lady , but why i don't understand?"

"hanma was one of my old co-workers in tenjiku , he's a fugitive right now"

"i see , well i should head out now to start the mission" he got up then bowed

"okay , see you" she mumbled looking back at her laptop now a small smile forming on her lips 

"i see what you're planning Mikey"

one week later

she was standing in front of his apartment , it's been a week since the last time she saw him and she definitely missed him so much , she didn't want to disturb him that's why she came to his house on his day-off from work , but here she is knocking on his door but no response .

she sighed thinking that maybe he's just buying groceries or something, so she'll better wait for him , she took a pin from her pocket and then tried to open the door , but she remembered the day when she broke into his house , it was a little bit scary , she doesn't want him to be scared of her , so she just sighed and leaned against the door waiting for him

30 minutes

an hour

she wasn't gonna leave anytime soon , she wanted to see him so badly at that moment , so there's no way she's leaving ,she was sitting on the cold ground now, she sighed for the n-ieme time , then she heard talking and laughing approaching her , it was a male voice along with a feminine , she recognized the male voice , it was kazutora.

she saw them both walking with bags on their hands , they probably went for grocery shopping , it was kazutora along with that girl , maya , the neighborhood and at the same time the one who owns a bakery right next to kazutora and chifuyu's pet shop

"aki?"

she looked up glancing at maya , she looked cute not gonna lie , she looks nice and kind , it made aki's heart ache but at the same she was a little bit relieved that kazu will be in good hands after she leaves this world, but for now it just hurts.

she glanced at kazutora and smiled a very fake smile then waved at him , he looked worried maybe because he didn't want her to feel jealous or to feel bad

"this is-"

"maya, i know" aki cuts him off with the same smile , she bowed a little bit
"thank you for the cake last time maya-san"

"A-ah t-that, um no problem i guess" maya whispered looking away

"well maya-chan , goodbye , see you later " kazutora waved at her

"see you kazutora-kun" she smiled at him then left entering her apartment

kazutora looked at aki then sighed and spoke "it's not what it looks like"

"i know" she smiled at him and nodded

he opened the door and let her enter first "you know nothing aki"

she frowned looking at him closing the door "why would you say that?"

"because of your smile aki , it's fake , just drop it"

she stopped smiling looking at him and thinking how did he figure that out , she sighed then lied down on the couch

"we just went grocery shopping since we're neighbors , it's not what you think it is" he sat down on the ground next to the couch she's lying in , he took her hand and pecked her palm gently

"yeah , you looked happy "she smiled now a genuine smile , with a little bit of sadness in it

"im happier when im with you"he buried his face on her stomach

"hmm right" a small tear dropped from her eye but she quickly wiped it , so he won't notice it, and he didn't of course

"i missed you that's why i came here to see you kazu , but now i have to leave"

"what noo , you just came here"

"i waited you for an hour" she deadpanned making him pout with regret filling his eyes

"aki im sorry-"

"you don't have to apologize , you did nothing wrong love , you just had some fun" she got up then kisses his lips while her hands are on his sharp jaw , he kissed her back immediately desperate for the taste of her mouth, he definitely wanted more , but she was quick to pull out attaching her forehead into his

"i love you kazu"

"i love you too aki , i love you so so much" he caressed her cheek

"i have to leave , i'll visit when i have  time okay?"

"don't be late" he whispered

"i won't" she pecked his forehead then got up leaving , she waved at him before finally opening the door then leaving and closing the door after her , kazutora sighed and looked at his ceiling

"i fucked up"
