everyone knows what happened to bonten by now , the police got in aki's secret apartment and found all the evidences that she killed the bonten excutives , and she was basically the leader and master mind of bonten .

she was now internationally wanted , for all her crimes , the bonten crimes are all on her shoulder right now.

she knows now that if she got out , she'll get either arrested or killed , she was proud of herself , she didn't think it will work but it did , the police was too stupid to believe the fake evidences she puts there .

she was now getting ready to go out , she had to see kazutora one last time , he was literally spamming her phone , calling her every minute, he probably have seen the news that's why , takemichi called her a lot too , draken as well.

she didn't respond at all , she got dressed did her makeup and hair , if she's going to die , at least she have to look pretty .

after that she left heading to kazutora's pet shop , when she arrived she parked the car a little bit far from the pet shop , she didn't want anything to seem suspicious.

she got out of the car and walked heading to the pet shop , she passed by a dark small alley to avoid any unnecessary attention , but she was surprised when she saw two familiar figures standing there , like they were waiting for her to get here, she sighed then spoke.

"mikey , Haru" she smiled staring at the two guys in front of her , the shorter one and the slightly taller one

"Aki, congratulations you're now a wanted criminal" mikey replied staring back at her with his dead emotionless eyes

"I see , you're here because of what i did , you wanna end it right? "she mumbled with a chuckle , you can tell that she's smiling in a way that shows surrender , acceptance

"where are the others aki , what did you do to them?" haruchiyo asked her

"they're fine , after everything is done they'll be out of japan , they're gonna live a good life , without crimes , without blood on their hands" she sighed with satisfaction , as if she reached her goal , well she did.

"you betrayed us" haruchiyo spoke with an irritated voice " stop acting like you did us a favor aki"

"i didn't do you any favor , i did a favor to myself , for the first time in my life , i did something for me "

"do you wanna die that bad ?" mikey asked her with a calm voice titling his head a little bit

"you have no idea " she sighed and looked up with a smile

"even if kazutora is with you? and all the people you love are with you?" his voice now was less colder and much angrier , it's rare to hear the new mikey all agitated and shit

"it's not about them , it's about me , i don't want to live anymore , i've done a lot of things i regret doing in my life, maybe if i didn't do this things , i would be happy , but now i just can't feel anything at all , i thought being with kazu will fix everything but it didn't , i love him so much that i thought he will be the missing piece to fix my life , but it didn't , you can't expect from someone else to fix you when the real problem , is you , i have to fix the problem myself , and here am i , doing my self a favor , for one last time"

"do you think this will make me go back to the person i used to be in the past" his voice was now getting more frustrated , he just doesn't get it .

"no , the person you were in the past would never be back , but you'll be a better person , for me , for your friends who will be waiting for you "

" this the last chance im giving you " he took his gun out of his waist and looked at her with a serious look

"i found peace mikey , i won't back off"

"then have peace" he pointed the gun towards her making haruchiyo flinch

"before that , i want you to know that i'll always be your friend, and don't blame yourself" she took one step towards him , making him back off a little

"this is your last words?" mikey spoke with a shaky voice , he didn't notice that his hands were shaking , so was the gun

"no , my last words are gonna be to kazu , because i know you won't shoot , how can i make my best friend kill me , i wouldn't do such a thing , i don't want you to suffer after my death  " she smiled at him then snatched something from her wrist , it was the bracelet kiyooshi gave her , she opened the little bottle hanging there then drank it all , it was just a little portion so it was quick

she dropped the bracelet to the ground then looked at Mikey

"i just drank poison , it will take 15 minutes i guess , to do its job i'll be dead without too much pain , that's what kiyooshi said"

a silence fell to the conversation after what she uttered , mikey's eyes were wide open , like he was just realizing what's really going on , he took a minute to organize the emotions and the thoughts that suddenly float back to his empty soul. he was trembling , he looked at her in disbelief.

"why did you do this" mikey dropped his gun down then approached her , his eyes were different , she smiled seeing some emotions on his eyes after 12 years , his eyes were sad , so sad , but at least it was something .

"i don't want you to suffer anymore mikey , if you were the one to take my life , you won't be able to forgive yourself" she exclaimed examining his features , and especially the look on his eyes , they look sad yet , more alive , she was trying to memorize his face one last time.

"you think i'll forgive myself knowing that you died for my sake" his eyes were glossy with tears , soon enough tears started flowing from his dark sad eyes

"you will mikey , for me , for shin , for Baji , emma , izana , for all of us " she caresed his cheek wiping tears away from it with a soft smile on her face , like she didn't drink a deadly poison just a few seconds ago , her smile was like the click for him , his lips trembled looking at her , tears still flowing from his eyes , he suddenly broke down for the first time in years and years , he started crying loudly like a kid , she just pulled him closer to her and put his head on her chest wrapping her arms around him , he hugged her back burying his face on her shoulder and crying like a child who got separated from his mother

"please don't leave me aki-chin , im so sorry , im sorry aki-chin , you don't deserve to die , i do , i ruined your life , i didn't even attend your birthday , im sorry aki-chin " he continued sobbing on her chest making her frown

"i forgive you mikey " she pulled away wiping his tears away then printed a soft peck on his forehead

i think i cried while writing this chapter and the next one
