"Ms. Lee before you leave we have some important things to talk about."
You look at him straight in the eyes. You knew you two needed a talk if you were to work at his company. You just couldn't keep going on ignoring the elephant in the room. It was needed. But what you didn't expect was the conversation to come this soon and him being this straight about the matter. If he wanted to talk about it now you would give him that. There was no use in waiting and besides, you didn't want things to get more complicated than it already was.
So you gave in.
"We sure have Mr. Kim."
You reply sternly and he sighs nodding his head. He looks around the room and does not meet your eyes for some time as if trying to prepare for everything he is going going to say. You just stared at him and find yourself admiring his features for the second time today. No way someone could look this way in his office attire. He was not anything like those guys you see every other day. He was ethereal. You notice how his adam's apple moves from time to time, and his neck, you would definitely like to kiss that neck again.

Now you couldn't believe your own thoughts. This wasn't you. This was definitely your pregnancy hormones speaking before you. You look away trying to get a grip on your thoughts. And of course, you don't want to get caught staring and make things awkward. You hear him clear his throat so you prepare yourself.
"Ms. Lee, we both know we share a little past."
He starts, eyes meeting yours but this time his eyes speak before himself. They had some emotions which you couldn't really comprehend. Not like a few moments ago empty and void. But he retracted it right away as if not wanting for you to see.
"Yes, we do"
"Ms. Lee." He pauses for a moment and speaks again, "What happened that night was not something I expected."
"Neither did I."
You speak right away. You do not want him to get the wrong idea and think that it is normal for you to go sleep around with guys randomly. There are many men and women like that who enjoy doing that and it's totally up to them. But you are anything but that. You would rather experience it with someone you love and care for.
