You say knowing very well that the other person has no idea about your situation yet she doesn't question it. She's got other things to worry about, for example, a certain person named Jeon Jungkook.
"I don't know."
You and your co-worker Aera both let out a sigh in unition, as she stirs at her coffee and you stare at your kimchi stew in an absent-minded way.
What were the odds? That the two of you would end up this way.
It was your lunch break and you and Aera decided to get some food together. But both of your foods were left cold and unfinished as none of you seemed to have an appetite, which for someone as pregnant as you was not a good sign.
"Hey ladies! What's going on over here? " Park Jimin greets you two with a cheerful voice as he takes a seat opposite of you two.
You turn to find Jimin's lips stretched into a stunning smile. Well, someone seems to be in a good mood at least.
You both greet him and you pass him a small smile.
"Woah, not in a great mood today, I see. "
"Just a little stressed. You seemed to be in a great mood though." You try to cheer up a little to avoid any further questions and keep this man busy.
"You're right. I'll let you two guess the reason first." He looks at Aera and clears his throat to get her attention. "Miss Aera? Any guesses?"
"Uh- I'm not sure. . . "
Aera on the other hand, seemed completely clueless about the conversation going on.
"It's alright. I dyed my hair and I fucking love this color. What do you guys think?"
Jimin grins wiggling his eyebrows while pointing at his hair and only that is when you notice the golden locks.
How did you not notice that earlier?
"Gosh, they're gorgeous. If I thought silver looked good on you this one crosses that color too."
Meanwhile, you notice Aera looking at somewhere with furrowed eyes but then it turns to a surprised one. You follow her line of vision and that is when you realize who she is looking at.
"Seokjin is back already? " She exclaims loud enough to catch the attention of the said person.
As soon as his eyes fell on you three, he started to head towards the table you were sitting at. You had no idea that your department head had returned after the event he had gone to attend in NYC.
"Oh, when did he return? "you ask Jimin with a pleased smile, not removing your eyes from the person coming to meet you guys.
But then you notice another figure beside him. As soon as you realize who it was your breathing stopped.
