Authors POV:
A little back story for the present:
Y/N have been sleeping in the basement in a INN, she's been staying at for the past 3 years now.
She knows the inn clerk Mark very well to the point they become somewhat close friends. Mark doesn't know that Y/N is a vampire/demon. Mark only knows y/n is very good at fighting because she fought off a bunch of burglar's trying to ransack the INN.
Back to the story:
Y/N POV:
You were awoken from your beauty sleep to yelling, screaming, and the smell of smoke.
'What in the bloody hell is happening.' You thought half asleep.
You stood up from your laying position and stretched your arms. 'Now to find out why the hell I was awoken.'
You stood up from your bed, grabbed your black and red trench coat and started to walk up the stairs.
Once you got all the way up the flight of stairs you opened the door to find body's everywhere.
Blood soaked the walls, body's where disfigured and almost unrecognizable. It seemed fire was everywhere in the small village. It seemed like someone tried to defend themselves but failed miserably.
Within the sea of bodies you couldn't find Mark anywhere. You closed your eyes and started to listen to everything around you.
'Get over here!'
"Hmm not mark" You said
'DIE!'
"Not him either"
'Come on kid you have to run I'll take care of them.' 'But my my mom. The kid started crying.'
You opened your eyes with the biggest smirk you could make. "Ahh there he is!"

With in seconds you were right beside him ready to fight anyone who stands in your way.
"Ah mark~ how are you love?"
"NOWS NOT THE TIME FOR THAT Y/N!"
"Boohoo~ your no fun." you then became very serious.
"What's going on mark?"
"Vampire's have destroyed and killed everyone we're the only ones left we have to go NOW." Mark said seriously.
You then looked to your right to see a little boy with black hair and golden brown eyes from the other day.
"Mark." You said not taking your eyes off the kid almost like you were dozing off.
"WhAt we have to go." Mark started to whisper scared that the vampire might find them.
You turned to look at him and said "When did you get a kid? Did you knock someone up without me knowing!? How rude you always tell me everything." You started to pout.
Mark could literally feel a vain about to pop out of his forehead.
"I DID NOT YOU YOU GAHHHHHHH." Mark yelled in frustration.
"AHAHAHA OK ok hehe." "Now if you both don't mind."
Both the little boy and mark looked at each other then at you.
"Run."
You said pulling out your holy gun to kill the in coming danger. Turns out the vampire and ghouls heard all the yelling and started moving towards the three of you.
Mark and VLAD as you figured out his name by looking into his mind, started to run into the forest behind you.
The vampire leading the ghouls than showed up in-front of you.
"Ahh my queen I wasn't expecting you to be here! My name is James and I would love for you to join me!" James gave off a very hectic and joyful aura.
"Hehehe." You started to giggle. "BHAHAHAHAHA." You full out started to laugh like a crazy person.
"You think 'hehehe' I would join 'hehehhaha' you?! BAHAHAHAH. A WEAK BASTARD?! BAHAHAHAHA."
James then became very serious. "If not I guess I'll just have to kill you! BHAHAHAHAHHA! Get her." James pointed his crusty long nails at you.
About fifty ghouls all started to make there way to you. you pointed your gun right at the first ghouls you saw and started shooting like a crazy person.

Little did you know the vampire had three ghouls go after someone you meant to keep safe.
Marks POV:
Me and VLAD have been running for maybe thirty minutes I'm not sure how long it's actually been but it sure as hell feels like it.
"I'm tired sir can we stop for a bit?" 'VLADS right we should stop for a little Y/N is keeping those things busy so we should have time.'
'Speaking of Y/N I hope she's ok.'
"Okay VLAD we can stop for a little then we have to get going again okay."
"Okay."
Ten minutes later:
Mark and VLAD were chatting until they heard weird moaning. Mark looked around quickly to try and find some kind of weapon and grabbed a huge stick.
He started to look around to try and find were the sounds were coming from. VLAD was so scared he stuck himself on marks leg and refused to let go.
"Come one kid we should try and run again." All of a sudden the ghouls popped out of no where and grabbed mark! Well VLAD let go of his leg.
"Run kid and don't look back, me or Y/N will find you later! GO!"
VLAD Hesitated. He looked at Mark and then looked at the Forest. When VLAD looked back at mark he could see him in pieces, blood everywhere. VLAD almost threw up on the spot.
He then notice the ghouls start to walk his way. "AHH." He screamed and started running again. VLAD being only 10 could easily out run the creatures, but for how long?
