I wake up to Chase's alarm blaring and roll over to shut it off. The weekend is officially over, which means I can't just lazy around in my boyfriend's clothes all day. That also means I have no clothes or makeup to wear to school today. Hell, I don't even have a hair brush.
Today was already a disaster in the making.
I groan as Chase loosens his grip around my waist, rubbing the tired out of his eyes. I stare up at the ceiling and groan internally, did we really have to go to school today?
He crawls over me and gets off the bed before grabbing my hands and attempting to pull me up with him.
"No," I groan, not budging from my spot on his bed.
"Come on," he pulls a little harder, careful not to use his vampire strength to fling me off of the bed.
I let him pull me up into a sitting position and pout, "do we have to?"
"Unfortunately," nothing about his grin matches the word, but I get up anyway. If only I could convince him to compel the school to give us good grades for the rest of the year without being present. But even the vampires on The Vampire Diaries didn't do that. They actually attended it for fun, shudder. What were they thinking?
I pull my (well, his) shorts down in the middle to get rid of the bunch from my constant tossing and turning. "I don't have any of my clothes here."
"Your parents already left for work, right?" He asks, even though I'm sure he knows they leave at like four in the morning.
I nod.
"Then let's just go steal some," he smirks.
I fight the urge to retort, is it really stealing if they're my clothes?

The ride to school was mostly silent, spending all weekend together really gave us nothing to talk about in the mornings. We'd usually spend this time talking about the latest ridiculous talks we had with our families at dinner or homework we kept putting off until the last minute.
Learning Chase's family's daily routines was going to be hard, but at least I don't have to pretend to be someone I'm not. His family accepts me for who I am and doesn't expect me to conform to their every rule. I'm actually allowed to be myself with no regrets.
Although I tried to sneak some of my makeup over, Chase wouldn't let me. He kept saying I'm too pretty to paint on myself. As much as I love him and think it's sweet that he thinks so, I'm seriously going to have to figure out how to get him to let me wear some. I'm self conscious without so much as wearing a little tint of peachy lipstick.
I send a quick text to Gwen:

Me
Hey, are you at school already?

Immediately, she texts back:

Gwen
Yea, why?

Me
I'll be there in 5, meet me in the cafeteria bathroom?

Gwen
I'll be there :)

I sigh in relief, knowing she always has some sort of lipstick on her at all times.
He pulls into the school's parking lot and pulls into our normal spot near the exit. The closer to the exit, the faster we can get out of this hell hole at the end of the day.
The walk into school is the same as the drive, silent. We walk hand in hand until we get inside, when I tell him I'll be right back and go to meet up with Gwen.
"What's up?" She greets me as soon as I walk in and I look up to see her leaning back against one of the sinks.
"Do you have any lipstick on you?" I get right to the point.
"Yeah," she jumps into action, digging through her pink backpack before handing me it.
I take the cap off and press the baby pink lipstick to my lips, quickly lining my lips with it.
"You're a life saver." I hand it back to her and she tosses it back in the side pocket of her backpack.
She laughs, "why didn't you just use your own?"
She's already been caught up on the fact that I moved in with Chase so I just playfully roll my eyes when I say, "Chase wouldn't let me take any from my room. Said I look too pretty on my own to wear it." I put severe air quotes around the words too pretty.
"Aw, how cute," she gushes.
"Cute? Yes. Annoying? Also, yes." I laugh. "How do I tell him I need to wear it?"
She shrugs helplessly.
"Ugh," I groan. "Well, thank you for letting me use it. Hopefully this won't be a daily occurrence."
She nods, "anytime. I like your rebellious side."
