some jeremy and michael becoming the bestest of homiesmichael pov
jeremy sat next to me at the dinner table. i took henry up on his suggestion to invite jeremy over, even though he wouldn't know that until he got home because he was still at work. jess made sausage and rice with green beans, and she was serving the plates out.
"how much do you want, jeremy?" jess asked him.
"oh, uh- same as michael, i guess." jeremy patted his hands against his legs softly.
"alrighty then." jess smiled and placed the sausage and rice on his plate, and then putting the green beans on it.
"thank you, ma'am." jeremy smiled.
"of course, j-...i wanna say your name was jason." jeremy and i both started to laugh.
"no, maam. close though! it's jeremy." jeremys smile showed his teeth. his teeth were perfect and uniform, not a single crooked or misshaped one among them. that lucky bastard.
"so, michael, how many classes do you've have with jeremy?" jess asked as she placed the food on my plate.
"uh- 4. we have fi'st, thi'd, fourth, and sixth." [first, third] i explained. jess nodded and sat down.
"so. jeremy, tell me." jeremy took a deep breath in, and i prepared to have jess spill some embarrassing story from when i was just a lad, "is michael paying attention in class? the closer you get to the end of the school year, the less certain people pay attention." jess smiled. jeremy and i both laughed a little.
"yes maam he is. at least i think he is. i have no reasons to believe otherwise." jeremy smiled. he leaned over to me "do we have to wait for the henry guy to get here before we eat or do we just start eating?" he whispered
"henreh won't be back until way later, so we eat now." i explained. jess nodded with a smile.

we ate and talked, and jess did end up telling jeremy a bunch of embarrassing stories about me. after we had finished eating, i took jeremy to my room.
"sick record player." jeremy stated, running his hand over the sleek black turntable on my desk.
"i guess so. ive had it for a while." i shrugged.
"do you use it?" jeremy looked at me
"yeah?" i shot him a confused look.
"can i see your records, then?" jeremy asked. i nodded and pointed to a shelf in my room, which had a bunch of records stacked ontop of eachother. i flopped down onto my bed and jeremy walked over to the shelf. he started going through them, and after about 5 minutes of him looking at the records he gasped, a huge smile forming on his face.
"IS THIS ALIVE II??" jeremy held up the record.
"that's what the cover says." i smiled. jeremy started happily mumbling random gibberish and stood up, running to the record player. he pulled it out of the cover and placed it down.
