By the time the game of hide and seek was over we were all yawing and trying to keep our eyes open. It had been a long day so I got out the extra blankets and pillows for the boys to have since they were sleeping on the couches and went upstairs to my bedroom.

l flopped down on my bed and instantly fell asleep.

"Kitty wake up." Someone said shaking me gently.

I just groaned and pulled my blanket over my head.

"Not a morning person I see." I'm pretty sure it was Evan since no one else called me kitty

All of a sudden my blanket was pulled off my body and I groaned again.

"Evan leave me alone." I said, my voice muffling by my pillow.

"Alright fine, I'll just go and eat my bacon without you then." He said and I could tell he was smirking.

I got up and sprinted down the stairs with Evan following behind and I could hear him chuckling at me.

"Wow she really does love bacon." Alex said smiling.

"I told you she does." Evan said sitting at the table now with his plate of bacon and eggs.

So he planned on doing that the whole time? I guess so.

I grabbed my plate and piled it with lots of bacon and some eggs and sat down across from Evan.

When I was done I got up and headed up stairs to get ready for school. I hate School. The only thing I like about it is the fact that I get to see Callie and Evan obviously.

I took a quick shower since I woke up a little late today and then picked out a pair of designed leggings, a tank top and put on my hoodie. I brushed through my long copper hair and let it dry natural since it usually dries pretty straight. I pulled on my converse and grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket.

"Let's go Evan we can't be late." I said walking down the stairs.

I noticed his eyes flash to my legs for a second and then they went back to my face. We had to drop Alex off at school and then we could go to school.

I got through the first half of the day and was now headed to lunch. Evan sat with me today and we shared some fries. We talked about normal stuff and I was starting to think that trying to be his friend was worth it.

He doesn't really have anyone to be there for him besides me and his brother.

After school was over I went to my locker and Callie was there waiting for me. She smiled when she saw me

"We should hang out this weekend."

"Yeah but I sorta have company for a couple of days." I said not sure how to tell her that the new boy and his little brother was staying at my house.

"And who is that?" She asked.

"Evan and his little brother..." I answered.

Her eyes widened and she looked surprised and... scared?

"Wait Evan as in the new boy!? Anne you cannot keep hanging out with that creep!" She said loudly. I covered her mouth with my hand and she licked it.

"Eeeeew gross!" I said wiping it on her sleeve.

"That's what you get for covering my mouth with your hand." she said pouting like a little child.

"That's because you were being loud! I'm sure the whole school probably heard you." I said trying not to laugh at her face.

She left saying she had to get home, so I turned around to start heading to mine when I rammed right into someone dropping all my books.

"Sorry!" I said automatically while bending down to pick up my books.

"It's fine love." I heard a guy say.

I've never noticed anyone with an accent here before.

I picked all my books and stood back up to see that he also helped me pick them up. He handed them to me and I muttered a thank you.

I was about to move forward when he grabbed my arm.

"What's your name?" He asked smiling down at me since he was like 6 inches taller than me.

"It's Annabelle, now if you'll excuse me, my mother will be wondering where I am."

He stepped out of the way and I speed walked away from him and out of the doors of the school.

When we all got home I headed upstairs to change into more comfortable clothing. I threw on a pair of sweat pants and a T- shirt and headed back downstairs into the living room.

"Well that's an attractive look." Evan said teasingly.

"Shut up stupid this is what I wear when I get home from school, it's comfortable." I said simply and then sat on the couch and grabbed the remote.

Well, I tried to.

Evan's hand shot out and took the remote before I could grab it and started looking through the channels.

"Hey the owner of the house gets to control the remote!" I yelled trying to get it back.

"Nah ah ah!" He said raising it above his head because he's obviously taller than me.

I glared at him, but smiled to myself because I have an idea of how to get it back.

I jumped up on the couch and grabbed the remote before he had time to react.

"Haha sucker! Who's got the remote now!" I yelled laughing while still on the couch.

He grabbed my leg and pulled it, so I fell back down in the couch and took the remote back from my hands.

"Stupid." I muttered under my breath.

"What was that?" He asked smirking.

"I said you're stupid, stupid!"

He turned on the history channel and I groaned.

"Really?" I asked in disbelief.

He laughed and went back to watching the most boring show ever.

"I don't even know why I try being friends with you." I said.

"You're the most boring person ever." I added before laughing.
