Chapter Two: hello kitty and holland park

Another day in the hell hole they call school.

I didn't bump into the new guy all day, I'm pretty sure he's avoiding me after what happened yesterday, although I don't see anything wrong with what happened.

I saw him outside during lunch and it looked like he was drawing in a notebook, well maybe a sketch book. He looked pretty into what he was drawing but when he saw I was watching him he left. I don't know where he went but i'm guessing far away from me.

I got curious and went out looking for him.

I went to my locker at the end of the day and got all my books and homework I needed for the weekend and put away all the stuff I didn't need.

This was going to be a long weekend...

First off my dad is going to be at work the whole weekend and second Callie is going out of town so now I'm officially alone this weekend.

I'm jumping for joy! (note the sarcasm)

I got home and saw a note on the kitchen counter.

Annabelle,

I'm sorry I'm not going to be home all weekend, but next weekend I took off so we can go to dinner and a movie or something :) try not to sit around all weekend and go have fun! oh and there's take-out in the microwave! love you! xxx

I took that as a 'Don't text me at all during the weekend unless it's an emergency' note.

I was pretty hungry though since I didn't eat anything for breakfast or lunch today.

It's not like I wasn't hungry or anything I just didn't have time for breakfast this morning and I was looking for the new guy at lunch. Yes I still didn't know his name.

I looked in the microwave and found chinese take-out, my favorite.

I closed the microwave again and heated it up a little and then took it into the living room.

It was a friday night and I was stuck at home watching Pretty Little Liars and eating chinese food. I'm so popular.

I heard the familiar ring of my text tone and picked up my phone.

New message from unknown number.

Well I've never gotten one of those before.

Unknown: hey hello kitty(;

Okay talk about creepy... wait I never gave him my number...

Annabelle:how the hell did you get my number???

Unknown:thats my little secret ;)

Annabelle:hey stupid I need a name to put in my contacts for you, unless you just want me to put stupid >:)

Unknown:you can put 'super sexy new guy' if you want ;)

Annabelle: okay first off stop it with the winky face it creeps me out and second, it would be easier to put ' super sexy' before your name...

Unknown:I agree it would be but I'm not telling you... ;)

Annabelle:well fine then I guess we're done talking here stupid.

Stupid:Annabelle....

Annabelle: yes stupid?

Stupid:meet me at holland park tomorrow at noon, maybe I'll tell you my name. bye kitty ;)

Annabelle: um... okay?

And that was how my conversation with stupid went.

I woke up to my ringtone blaring through the room.

so honey nooooow

take me into your loving arms

kiss me under the light of a thousand stars

place your hand on my beating heart

I'm thinking ouuut loud

I picked up my phone to see that it was from stupid, I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey are you up?"

"Well I am now thanks to you."

"It's eleven thirty by the way, get dressed and do whatever it is girls do to get ready and meet me at the park in 20 kitty." He said and then hung up.

Well then I guess I slept in a little too late, now I have 20 minutes to get ready.

I should probably hurry up.

I took the quickest shower of my life and then got dressed into some leggings and a hoodie since its the middle of november and its getting cold out. I put on some mascara and chapstick and then put on my converse and I was out the door.

It took me about 5 minutes to walk to the park and when I got there I saw him sitting on one of the swings in the vacant playground.

I decided to sneak up on him since his back was turned, I walked up slowly behind him and was about to scare him but instead he scared me.

"Boo!" He screamed.

I screamed and fell to the floor.

He was laughing his ass off at me. Great now I just embarrassed myself.

"Not fair! I was gonna scare you!" I yelled at him, as he helped me get up from the ground.

"You were too slow." He said laughing lightly.

"So why am I here?" I asked.

"Well I was going to tell you my name but..." He said trailing off.

"Wait, you invited me to the park just to tell me your name?" I asked him, and realizing I never let go of his hands, I let go.

"Yep" He smiling at me.

A real genuine smile.
