The rest of the week went by fast. I hung out with Elliot again much to Evans protests.

I still haven't figured out why he doesn't like Elliot.

It's Saturday and I have nothing to do. I could call Callie and see if she wanted to hang out, but I think I heard her talking about going up north with her parents or something.

We haven't hung out much this week because of school and Evan is still staying at my house.

I decided to go downstairs and see what Evan's doing, it couldn't be more boring than this right?

I walked downstairs and into the living room to find Evan playing COD on my x-box 360. I play x-box and I'm a girl, which people think is weird sometimes, but I don't care.

I sat down next to him on the couch and grabbed a controller.

"Add me in." I said.

He looked at me with a smirk on his face but did what I asked.

"Oh you are so going down Johnson." He said still smirking at me.

"In your dreams Adams, I've been playing it since I was a little girl, I've mastered this game." I said throwing his smirk back at him.

He laughed and started the game.

"Oh yeah in your FACE!! Bow down to the master of COD!!!" I yelled throwing down the controller.

We spent an hour playing and I won every time.

"That's how it's DONE SON!!!" I said walking into the kitchen to grab some snacks.

He followed me in and I could see him out of the corner of my eye leaning on the counter next to me.

"You were awesome." He said. "Almost as awesome as I am."

There's the cocky bastard I know and don't love.

"Well I don't mean to be a cocky bastard like someone I know, but I beat you in COD." I said smirking at him.

"Yeah yeah whatever." He replied rolling his eyes.

"What's that? I think I heard someone annoyed at how great I am." I said laughing.

He just grinned in response. "You're different."

I looked at him for a second before putting the popcorn in the microwave. "Different?"

"Yeah."

"From what?"

"Other girls."

I smiled. "Good."

The popcorn finished popping so I grabbed it and we walked back to the living room.

That's when I noticed something.

"Where's your brother?"

"He's staying at a friends instead of here."

"Oh ok."

We played COD for another 2 hours and then we both decided to go get some lunch because gaming for three hours really makes you hungry.

We got in my car, which I bought with my saved up money from the several jobs I had over the summers. It was used and from like 2000 but it runs good so that's all I care about.

I got in the drivers seat and pulled out of the drive way.

"So what are you in the mood for?" I asked looking over at him before I looked at the road again.

"Hmm... how about that little diner downtown? They have really good food." He said and I could see him looking at me out of the corner of my eye.

"Sure why not."

"We can call it a date."

If I had water I would be spitting it out now.

"Oh my gosh your face!!" He said laughing at me.

"I was just joking."

I swear I almost died.

"We could still call it a date if you want though." He replied smirking at me.

"Yeah no." I stated. "Let's call it a friendly outing."

We stayed quiet for the rest of the ride besides him giving me a couple directions to the diner.

When we got there it looked like a nice cozy little diner, but on the inside it looked like a fancy little restaurant.

"Wow, I hope this place isn't expensive." I said going to pull out my wallet.

"Shit I forgot my wallet at home!" I whisper yelled to Evan.

"I have to go back and get it." I turned around to leave when he grabbed my arm.

"Relax Kitty it's on me." He said when I turned around to face him.

"Really? I'll pay you back." I told him.

He shook his head and walked up to the counter.

We got our booth and sat down across from each other.

"Thanks for paying for me, I promise I'll pay you back." I said smiling at him.

"It's fine, really." he smiled back.

We talked and ate our food for about an hour and then headed back home.

"Thanks again, so you wanna play some more COD? Or should I say, you wanna have your ass handed to you while I beat you at another game of COD?" I said smirking at him heading to the living room.

"I am so going to beat you this time!" He called after me

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Adams!" I called back.

He walked in with a bowl of popcorn and sat it down In between us.

We played for another two hours and then I headed up stairs to get my pajama's on and went back down stairs.

Evan was shirtless.

And let me just say.... He has freaking Abs.

I didn't realize I was staring until someone cleared their throat.

"Are you done staring? Cause my eyes are up here." He smirked at me.

Oh my....

"Actually I was just going to ask you to put a shirt on." I said rolling my eyes.

"Uh huh yeah." he said sarcastically.

I grabbed the empty bowl of popcorn and carried it into the kitchen.

I felt Evan's breath on the back of my neck and I tensed up a little bit.

"Wh-what are you doing?" I asked. Curse my stutter.

He reached around me and grabbed a water bottle.

I turned around and saw him smirking at me.

"Do I make you nervous?" He whispered.

"Nope." I said walking around him.

I couldn't see his reaction because I hurried up the stairs and into my room and shut the door.
