In This Together *Casualty*

Ch five

Kenzie couldn't stop thinking about Iain. She knew what he had tried to do. She knew what she just wanted him to be okay. 

"Are you okay?" Ella asked as she walked over to where Kenzie sat in the corridor and sat next to her.

Kenzie looked to her and smiled. "I don't know. All I cal think about is Iain and this baby. Maybe I didn't see something. I didn't see how much that he was struggling," she mumbled.

Ella looked to her and smiled. She took her hand. "I know that you are going through a lot. But none of this is your fault. Iain was going through a hard time. He chose not to talk to you. I know it's hard but you have stay strong. If not for Iain, then for the baby. This one needs you. It maybe hard. But you can do it. You can do this. I am here for you. So is mum. You're not alone in any of this."

Kenzie looked to her and smiled. Ella pulled her into a hug. She knew how hard that everything seemed to be.

Kenzie knew that she had to stay strong for Iain. And what he was going through right now.

Kenzie stood in the hallway. She saw Connie. "How is he? Can i see him?" Kenzie asked.

Connie sighed. "He's alive but he's struggling. And it's not going to be easy.  I'm sorry you can't see him. He said he doesn't want to see you or anyone," she told her.

Kenzie looked to her and frowned. She felt hurt knowing how he didn't want to see her. She had sat waiting and worrying for no reason.

She knew that he was pushing her away. She knew that she was trying to be strong. But she didn't know how much more that she could take.

Kenzie walked down the corridor as she saw Ella who looked to her and frowned. "Hey. Are you okay?" Kenzie asked as she looked to her sister.

Kenzie sighed. "No. Iain won't see me. I have been strong for him. And he doesn't want me to see him. I don't know what to do," Kenzie sobbed.

Ella pulled her into a hug and smiled. "It's going to be okay. Don't you worry" she said as she goes her sister close.

Ella was worried about her sister. She didn't want her to put too much pressure on herself.

Kenzie sat in the flat crying. She was upset. She was upset about everything.

Helen walked in. She looked to her daughter and smiled as she pulled her into a hug. She smiled. "I know how things have been. But I am here for you. Everything is going to be okay," she said as she held Kenzie close as she sobbed.

But with everything going on, and with Iain going through the lowest part of his life, could Kenzie be there to support him through it?

Or would it all just be too much for her?
