You kept your head low as you walk down the hall of SFIT on your way to your lab.

Some people look at you and give you a dirty look. Others don't even look at you.

'I don't want attention anyways.' You think to yourself.

As you reach your lab, you run into someone-well, they run into you...literally.

You fall to the ground as the person turns around. You make sure your hat is still on, and thankfully it is....

Why are you so worried about your hat falling off, some might ask. Well, the answer isn't that simple.

Your a neko, a cat/human, who hides from anyone and everyone because of what you are. Your father-a scientist who experiments on you because he's to cheap to get hamsters or rats-made you this way.

He was doing his experiments on you like he would any other day, when you all of a sudden got sick. You want to the mirror, and saw you had cat ears. Your dad said it was temporary, but you discovered it wasn't a few hours later when you sprouted a tale, grew sharper teeth, and had your nails sharpened.

That was around a year ago, and you've been keeping it a secret since then. You also lost your friends, your popularity, and your inspiration for (whatever you want your major at SFIT to be).

"Oops..." The girl apologetically laughs. She helps you up, and you smile a bit. She gets hit with realization, and she grins at you "(Y/N)?"

"Honey Lemon?" You offer a hand for a handshake, but she just hugs you.

"I haven't talked to you in forever!" Honey let's go of you, but keeps her hands on your shoulders. "I thought you moved or something!"

"Nope. Just uh, just drifted away from everyone." You bend down to pick up your books and stuff that you dropped.

"You should come with me to see everyone else." She told you. Before you could deny, she started to drag you down the hall. She stopped at the doorways of the labs where everyone worked.

You looked around. It certainly had changed in the past year.

"Hey guys! I have a surprise!" Honey Lemon shouted.

"It's its another pink exploding ball, count me out." Go Go said as she walked over. She wasn't much different-except for the fact that her purple streak went from medium-light, to almost all the way faded.

"Is it doughnuts?" A hopeful Fred ran in, wearing his mascot costume. He didn't change much either, except for his old green beanie was replaced with a new blue one.
