New Bullies

On the other side of the tryouts for the football team are the tryouts for cheerleading. Among them are Krystal, Isabelle, Daisy, Loona, and many others. They were eager to begin, except for Loona, who was not comfortable.

"This feels so weird." Loona complained. "I mean, who's to say they won't at under our skirts?"

"Don't worry about that." Krystal said. "I heard they wear spandex and a tutu with pom poms. No panties to be seen."

"Yea. And plus, there's hardly any perverts here." Isabelle added.

"I'm just saying that this seems...silly." Loona said while looking away.

"Come on." Krystal placed her hand on Loona's shoulder. "Besides, I'm sure Stan would love to see you cheering on."

"Really?" Loona perked up. "But he would have to qualify."

"Considering all the training they did last year and during the summer, I have no doubt they will make it." Krystal smiled.

"OH! HERE SHE COMES!" Isabelle announced as she pointed at Peach, who had just arrived.

As soon as Peach made it, every girl got quiet so that they can listen. Peach cleared her throat and began. "Hello everyone! Welcome to the Cheerleading tryouts for Nintendo High! I am Peach Toadstool, and I will be your instructor!"

"But don't you have class?" Daisy asked.

"Yes," Peach answered, "but since we are shorthanded on cheerleading, they exempt me so that I could help you all learn and show some spirit!" She then jumped with Pom poms with agility and grace, awing the others. "Now, since we have 3 months before the start of the football season, we should make the best of it and work our hardest!"

The girls cheered. They were filled with spirit as they were eager to begin. Loona on the other hand felt a bit overwhelmed. On one hand, she would be uncomfortable in a cheerleading uniform. On the other, she would cheer on Stan, and who knows, maybe he'll like it. She was stuck on the middle and couldn't figure out what she wants. Krystal could sense this and stayed close to her to help her feel better.

"Just try it. If it dosen't work, you can still cheer him on from the seats." Krystal said in an understanding tone.

Loona smiled. "Ok. I'll try."

Neo and Stan were the first 2 to finish the speed test, along with some other students such as Mario, Link, Falcon, and even Donkey Kong. Some of the others were tired and never even get to finish the speed test in time before the whistle.

"Ok! Time's up!" Nika announced. The students were all lining up, ready to start the next test. Before that, Dasha was looking over the scoreboard and writing down notes on it over the tryouts. This was to determine who is ready to start and who is not ready at all. So far, no has been called out yet. Dasha then looked up.

"Ok. Clearly some of you are not build for speed." Dasha announced. "But don't worry. There are other attributes that are required for the team. Which brings us to the next round." She then turned and gave the signal. This brought out one big Koopa Ludus named Chuck Koopa, who was hiding and waiting for Dasha. He lined up next to the girls and stood still.

"The test of endurance!" Nika announced. "In a football game, the opposing players will try to knock you down and, in some cases, injure you to the point where you can't play. So there will be aggression."

"Which is what this test is for." Dasha added. "When I call your name, we want you to step up. At the sound of the whistle, Chuck koopa will charge and try to take you out without holding back. For this, you are to stood firm and knock him out. Any questions?" One particular student raise his hand, catching Dasha's attention. "Yes?"
