Championship Game PT1

Throughout the months, Neo and Stan were training hard to catch up with the other in order to be prepared for the upcoming championship game against Sega High School Dream Casters. They even had to be there on the weekends to help speed up the process. Fortunately, they were only there for an hour each day and were able to catch up real quickly.

Not only did they have to work their muscles, they also have to work their brains. The others told them about their recent strategies and their failed attempts during their absences. With the help of their friends, the boys were able to memorize almost everything.

After long hard grueling training, they were ready. But then, another problem arose.

As they were looking at the scheduled for the time and date of their match, Neo could've sworn he knew what that night is. After looking at the calendar again, his eyes widen with a shocking discovery.

"Full moon? On that day?" Stan asked in disbelief.

"Yes! The night of the match is on that same night where the moon is full!" Neo explained in a frantic tone.

"He's right. The moon calendar doesn't lie." Octavia agreed as she showed them the moon chart.

"Octavia. Can't you use your magic on me to keep me from changing?" Neo pleaded to the Owl girl.

"I can't. First of all, I don't have the book. Second off, my dad has it and is away for a while and won't be coming back till after the game. And lastly, this is way beyond my level. Sorry." Octavia explained.

"This is bad." Neo said as he paced back and forth in absolute anxiety. "If they see me as a wolf form, they'll think I'm a werewolf and will cause chaos! Can't we change the schedule?"

"It's not that simple. The date is final. We don't have the authority to change it. And the school can't change it since it's close to the last day of school." Isabelle explained. This made Neo even more worried now.

Loona stood up. "Hey. Come on man. Calm down."

"CALM DOWN!?! How can I? This is the worst thing ever! And what's more; they're gonna think I cheated at the Halloween party! They'll scream and tried to kill me with Silver weapons! WHAT DO I DO!?!"

"Whoa whoa! Bro! Take it easy!" Stan told Neo.

"I can't! This is bad! REALLY REALLY BAD!" Neo then sat down and covered his fave in his knees and arms. "And I can't back out!"

Stan, Loona, Octavia And Isabelle looked at each other in absolute worry. They have never seen Neo this upset before. Plus, they were also concern about the people. Because of the fact that Tabo struck fear into the hearts of the innocent, they are now scared of anything beyond their understanding. SO if Neo was changed into a wolf, it would stir panic. They were at a loss.

Then, Krystal came close to him. Before Neo was about to say anything, She placed her head on his and used her telepathy to calm him down. To the other's shock, it worked. Krystal then looked at Neo.

"Don't worry. We'll figure this out. We always have."

"But Krystal...I don't want to scare people. I can't leave because no one will take my place." Neo told her. Before he could continue, she kissed him on the lips.

"We're here for you. If anything, we can defend you if it does happen."

While Krystal was helping Neo, Isabelle looked through the rule book and found something. "Neo. You know, you could win the game and escape before the transformation."

"How?" Neo asked.

"The mercy rule!" She announced.

"Mercy rule?" Stan asked.
