Chapter 15-The Begining of Something New

Georgie Woke up with hope as she grabbed her phone to see if she had any messages from Dominic but her inbox was clear. Just when she had given up Hope a Ping was heard from her phone however it was not Dominic instead it was Skye. Reading the text Georgie was shocked. "Out side what do you mean your outside it's five am." Georgie said to herself before moving the curtain away from her window to reveal Skye standing in her yard. Getting her coat on and walking outside Gerogie smiled. "Thought with my brother gone you may a little help here so i'm here to offer my services" Skye said as the pair wanderd off to Jack to get the list of things to do today.

"Good morning you two, glad to have you Skye today I only have one thing for you to do and that is fix the outer fence as it was damaged by a drunk driver." Jack said smiling at the two girls. "We're on it" Skye and Georgie said in unison. While mending the fence the two shared looks of despaair and heartbreak until Skye couldn't hold it back anymore. "I miss him, you know" Skye stated as tears form in her eyes. Instead of responding with words Georgie wrapped her arms around Skye and they embraced each other. "I know we all do his a big part of our lives but i'm certain he will return after all his family." Georgie replied comforting Skye enough so that they can return to fixing the little bit of fence they had left. 

Ding! Georgie grabbed her phone from her pocket and smiled. "It's Dominic" Georgie gleamed overcome with joy. "What does it say?" Skye asked. "Thank you for comforting Skye I never said a proper goodbye but I want you to know that I'm thinking of you every second and every day that goes by is one more day closer to returning to you. Yours forever Dominic." Gerogie replied shocked at what she just read. Her mind raced into panick as she just stared and paced back and fourth. "Woah Easy" Ty said as he pulled up next to them. "What's going on?" Ty asked wanting to help any way he could. Skye showed him the text from Dominic and he couldn't help but smile. "Well that's not how I would have told you, his bold" Ty responded. "Wait you knew he still cared for me and said nothing" Georgie snapped as her focus shifted to Ty. "It was never mine to tell" Ty stated as he backed away from Georgie. 

Meanwhile over at the Heart family Ranch, Stuart got a call from a dairy producing plant who wanted to but all of their milk from his family. Within a couple of hours two trucks came and left full of milk being sent off to the plant and processed for the selves of the local supermarket. With such a big payment Stuart was wise to invest in buying more cows to produce Even more milk growing the profits drastically. 

Before they realised, it was time for school and both Georgie and Skye could tell for some reason it felt different now that Dominic wasn't going to be there with them. Dispite this they powered through right until the end when there was a assembly called. "My fellow students I am Please to announce the theme for your end of year Prom is Musicals. There will be a karoke machine and a live performance from a celebrity singer". Ryan Blossom shouted into the microphone hoping to spread some school spirit. The day ended after that short announcemnt and then another problem as Georgie pondered who will she go with if the one person she wanted to ask her is no longer around. The pair then returned to Heartland to do some boring homework assignment together and hang out for a little bit.
