Chapter 17-Close Call

Ryan pulling out all the stops opened his truck door and Helped Skye out of it before walking her gracefully up to the enormus glass stained doors before opening them. "This is my place, My parents are out so we have the place to ourselves" Ryan stated as he lead her to his bedroom and the pair began kissing removing their jackets and laying down on the bed. Ryan began to make his move but Skye quickly stops him. "This was a mistake" Skye said as she grabbed her coat and ran out of Ryans house. Once she had gone Ryan sat on his King sized bed with his head in his hand. 

No clue how she did it but shortly after leaving Ryans house Skye ended up back at school where a group of girls including Georgie comforted her. "Tell me you didn't go through with it" a random girl asked. "Wait how do you know about it" Skye asked. "My name's Jenny Parker and we all know about it because we heard his friends boasting about how Ryan and you were heading to his house." Jenny said in a concending tone. "No I didn't do it I changed my mind at the last second and Ran" Skye repliled with a smile on her face. "I am so glad your alright Skye if you need anythingyou can come to us" Jenny said before her and he other girls left leaving Gerogie and Skye alone together. "Skye what happened" Gerogie asked. "I just think itwas my hormones but I made the right choice in he end and avoided a big mistake. I want to only commit on a level with someone I truly care for and that one hundred percent is not Ryan." Skye replied.

"I think you need to talk to your brother he may be able to help you" Georgie said before leaving Skye alone with her thoughts. "Yeah but what one" skye said out loud to herself. Skye then left the school and headed home. Arriving on the doorstep she sat their but couldn't think so headed into the barn. "You miss him too don't you Wildflower" Skye said to the horse who snorted in reponse. "You poor thing being cooped up all day and not ridden as often as you need it. How about we change that Skye said as she got the tack and saddled up Wildflower, now go easy on me girl it's my first time riding okay" Skye said to the horse who once again snorted in response. The two rode off and enjoyed each others company in the spring weather. All of her worries about boys, prom and her brother faded into thin air as of this moment her spirit was at ease.
