"Are you done in fabric dyeing? Tomorrow is the deadline, right?" Macky asked.
It's our lunch break and we are now at the cafeteria. I'm still focused on doing my croquis while eating since I have to finish this by 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
"I'm almost done with that," I answered but still looked at my paper. I saw from my peripheral vision that Macky was looking at what I am doing.
"Didn't you tell me that you're going to finish that last night?" He asked.
"Well, yes but Levi is annoying me for the whole night..." I said and I saw him smirk.
"Ay. Anong klaseng annoy ba, baby girl?" He teased. I sighed and put down my pencil as I massage my forehead. I took a long breath before talking.
"He was whining for the whole night until morning! I cooked a lot of food for our dinner and then after an hour, he was asking again for food! Can you imagine, a 21 years old man, asking me to buy him a fricking foot-long sandwich at 2:00 am?! Bitch, I barely go outside the house and he just- ugh! My hair will grow white because of him!" I exclaimed. I was catching my breath while Macky is just staring at me and his mouth is wide open.
"What?" My brows furrowed.
"It's my first time to you explode like that..." I looked away and hold my pen again. "But you know what, you have to live with it. Malay mo, kapag kinasal na kayo ikaw naman ang pagsilbihan niya." He teased me but I just rolled my eyes.
"You know, that's not gonna happen."
"Let's see about that. Oh! By the way, bakit hindi kayo magkasamang pumasok ni Papi Levi kanina?"
"I decided to continue my croquis here and he was still asleep when I left," I explained.
"Oh my goodness gracious! Magkatabi ba kayong matulog!?" He sat beside me and stare at me with full of excitement. My brows furrowed as I turn my head to him. I was about to say no but then something came up into my mind.
The side of my lips slowly rise up and I heard him gasp.
"What do you think, Macarion Lee?"
"So magkatabi nga kayo! Anong feeling? Malikot ba siyang matulog? Nangyayakap ba? Nanghahalik?!"
"Hey! Lower down your voice." I almost whispered to him as I felt the stares from the other students inside the cafeteria.
"So ano nga?" He asked again but in a softer voice.
"I was just kidding. Gosh! He is sleeping on the sofa while I'm on the bed." I said and he just sighed.
"Aw. That's boring."
I lifted my gaze and looked around as I felt someone staring at us. Until my eyes landed on a girl sitting, not so far from us. She looks familiar to me but I don't know where I saw her. I squinted my eyes and realized that she was staring at the person beside me.
