Chapter 14

"D-Do you want some?" I asked him as I walk inside the office room while holding a plate.

"Paki-lapag nalang diyan. Salamat." He said but he didn't even glance at me and just type on his laptop.

"Alright.." I put the plate on his table and stood there awkwardly. "What about a drink? Juice? or... water?"

"Kahit tubig nalang, Alora." He said while he was still looking at the screen of his laptop.

"Okay..." I said as I slowly turn my back on him and went out. I can't help but sigh when I was already in the kitchen. 

He acts so cold to me since he woke up. He wasn't like that last night before we go to bed. After he helped me clean up, he carried me to the bed and I don't know what happened after that since I fell asleep. When I woke up, a while ago, he is already talking to me coldly.

I walk again towards the office room while holding a glass of water. When I walk in, I saw him talking to someone on his phone. He took a glance at me as I walked toward him but he quickly look away.

"Hindi pwede, p're" I also put the glass of water on his table and look at him. He nods at me and gestured me that he is already fine. "Salamat."

I smiled at him and I was about to go out. "Angelei..." He said softly. "Marami pa akong kailangang tapusin. Pasensya na." My brows furrowed at the way he talked.

Who is he talking to?

I just looked away and went out. I'm not planning to eavesdrop and I don't wanna hear him talking to someone so gentle but, to me, he talks coldly! Who is that 'Angelei', anyway? Another 'friend'? 

Tss. 'Edi siya na friendly.

I rolled my eyes at that thought. "Friendly, his ass." I walk inside our room and went straight to the bed. My phone just made a sound and I saw Macky's message.

Macky:

Baby girl! How are you?! 

Alora:

I'm not okay...

Macky:

Huh?! Why? What happened?

OMG.

Don't tell me...

Alora:

The fuck?

No! It's not what you think!

Macky:

Wala pa akong sinasabi, Alora Jewel.
