"Alora! The car is ready!" I heard my mom shouting from downstairs.

I just get my bag and went out. I'm going to move out today since that's what my mom says. I still don't agree with this marriage. I actually have a plan and I will just talk to Levi later when I arrived at their house. I think it's a good thing that I'm not living with them anymore. This is my last straw so that I could get away from their grip.

I hope so...

"Be good to your fiance, okay?" She told me before I could get in the car and I just nodded.

She should tell that to him.

I hopped inside the car without saying anything to her. Dad is already at work while my brother is inside.

See? No one cares when I'm moving out. Mom thought that I already agreed that's why she sends me off.

When we are already outside the villa I looked back again and sighed in relief. One last thing to do and I'm free. I was just asleep at the whole ride since I didn't get enough sleep last night. I was thinking about my plan the whole night.

**********

I woke up when I felt the car stop. I looked out to the window and realized that we were already in front of the Palomar's house since I saw them outside. I fixed myself first before going out of the car. Ninang Mabel was the first to approach me.

"I'm so glad that you're here, Alora." She said as we walked towards the house.

When we were in front, I saw Ninong Faustino and a little girl, it's Levi's sister. An old woman also came to me and held my hand.

"Hello Alora, naaalala mo pa ba ako?" She was smiling as she said that.

I stared at her face and tried to remember her. Until I remembered a woman who always cooked us a Filipino back when we were still in New York. She is Levi's grandmother.

"Yes po, Lola Winifreda." I quickly held her hand. I bow towards her hand and press my forehead on it. My nanny told me that pagmamano is a sign of respect to the elders and they always do this here in the Philippines.

"Napakagalang na bata. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos." She was smiling widely at me. "Oh siya. Halika na sa loob at may ihinanda ako para sa iyo." I followed her inside while Levi's parents are behind us.

Where's that guy anyway? Isn't he suppose to be here?

"May ipinasa lang si Levi sandali sa kaniyang eskwelahan, iha." Lola said as if she could read my mind. I just nodded in response and looked around the house.

It is a modern house that is almost full of glass. The interior design is incredibly nice even though there is not much furniture. The place is also wide and good for a family to live here.
