"Mom?"
Our parents were both standing in front of the door, smiling widely. I took a step forward and stand beside Levi who is confusedly staring at them.
"Aren't you going to let us in?" My mom said. Levi and I glanced at each other before stepping away from the door to let them in.
Levi walk closer to his parents to greet while as I did the same to my mom and dad. I saw his mom gave him something secretly but I just look away and didn't mind it.
"Why didn't you tell me that you're gonna come here tonight? You should've inform us first before coming here, Mom." I whispered to her.
"Then it wasn't a surprise anymore, sweetie. And besides, we want to see how's the two of you doing since you're already living together for months." She said as she hold my dad's arm. I secretly rolled my eyes and shifted my gaze to Levi.
He is talking to his mom while scratching his nape and smiling bitterly. His mom saw me looking at them so she called me. I smiled at her as I walked closer to them.
"Alora! How are you?" She said. I stand beside Levi after I greet both of his parents.
"I'm fine, Tita. What about you po? I'm glad that you visited us." I said.
"Why? Does my son annoys you so much?" She asked and I even saw her glare at the guy beside me. I was stunned when I suddenly felt Levi's hand snake around my waist.
"N-No. Uh- He's actually so nice to me." I cursed under my breath as I stuttered. I felt Levi pinch my waist a little bit as he chuckled. I turned my head to him and glared at him but he was just looking at his parents while smiling.
They decided to eat lunch here at home since they also brought food for us. While at dinner, they are just talking about their work.
"Gulay, Kamahalan." Levi suddenly whispered to me. I glare at him as I glanced at his plate.
"You should tell that to yourself. Look at your plate, you even separate the vegetables and the meat." I also whispered to him.
"Kakainin ko din yan mamaya. Desert, kumbaga." He explained and I rolled my eyes.
"Tss. 'Desert' your ass. I haven't seen you eat any vegetables." I said as I put some of the vegetables on my plate on his plate. His eyes widened as he almost jumped from his seat in panic. He hold my wrist to stop my hand and his moves made a sound so our parents turn to look at us.
"What's wrong?" Tito Faustino, his dad, asked. Levi and I shake our heads at the same time as I felt him slowly letting go of my wrist.
"Oh. They're just playing around. Don't mind them, ganyan talaga kapag malapit nang ikasal." My dad said teasingly.
After lunch, they all bid their goodbyes since they still have work. When Levi and I are left alone at the house, we went back to the bedroom since he isn't well yet. He walks towards the bed and lay down as I stand awkwardly at the door.
