The next day, well everything went normal. Even Jimin was back to his normal self.
He attended breakfast, but not even glance at me.
It does hurt me to see him ignore me like that, but if it helps him to get his answers, if it helps him to calm his mind, I'm okay with it.

"Here take this phone." Namjoon says and I sat infront of him in his office. I look at him with furrowed eyebrows. "I thought that maybe you wanted to call your parents. You did stay long time without talking to them." He said.

I extended my hand to take the phone, but stopped.

I can't call them. What if this is a trick to get their address? But Jimin already knows doesn't he?

"What happened?" Namjoon questions. "Nothing. I can't call them. Um…what if my department knows that I called them? Then it will be a huge problem for me."

"Problem for you?" "I mean, I'm still kidnapped, right? And if I called them it could give out some clues maybe?" I said. "Don't worry we'll take care of that." He assured.

I thought again, but I just can't risk to disclose their information.

"No. I'm sorry. I can't. I haven't talked to them for a while, I don't know what I'll say. Thank you for this, but I'm sorry." I said again.

"Okay whatever suits you best. Ah about your department, we got a member of your department here." He bluntly said, and I was scared.

"What?" I lowly asked to confirm. "A guy named Eunjae, he was being a problem for some time in our work, so we brought him here." "Here?" And he nod.

I stood on the doorway of the room where they kept Eunjae, panting heavily.
I can't him die. Not when I can save them.

I entered the room, and he was tied up, and even Robin was there, tied up.

"Robin?" I said when Jimin stood beside me. "Sir you're alive!?" Eunjae smiled with a hint of surprise.  "What did they do?" I turn to Jimin.

"They tried to create a problem in the shipments, my boys saw them and brought them here." He explained. "And now what are you going to do?" I asked worriedly. "Kill them so that they won't say anything to anyone." He pointed the gun at them.

I immediately held his hand and pointed the gun down.

"What happened?" He arched his brow. "You can't kill them like this." I bet I sounded troubled. "So now you'll take side of them and not who you're working for?" He glared at me.

"Sir you're working for them?" Eunjae looked confused. "Sir?" Robin added. I didn't answer to them, but simply glance at them.

How will I explain my situation now Eunjae? It's complicated.

"Can things go around this place, without killing anyone?"

"Yes. We can keep them in the cells torture them, till they die." Jimin suggest. "Or let them go if they keep their mouths shut, and work for us."

"We will never do that, even if you will kill us." Eunjae yells.

Why is this kid showing enthusiasm in situations like this?

"See? They want to die themselves." Jimin was about to point the gun and I stopped him again.

"I can't see them die."

"Then don't. You can walk out of here." He bluntly replies pointing at the door.

"Jimin. It's not that easy. You didn't leave your father when he said so, then how can I, when it's about my juniors?" I pointed at myself as I spoke.

As I said that, something in Jimin's eyes change and I felt his old, cold aura back. The one I encountered in the first meet.

"Then what do you want me to do?"

"Let's keep them here for sometime, what if they change their minds?" I purposed, and he nod his head, walking out of the place. Just as he stepped out, the guards started hitting them again. I couldn't stop them, that would make me suspicious more than ever.

Later that night I sneaked up into the room. Eunjae and Robin were both bloody and breathing heavily.

"Eunjae? Robin?" I called for them and they slowly wake up. "Sir?" Robin said. "What are you doing here sir?" He asked.

"I'm here to help. Listen-" "We don't want no help from traitor like you. You've disgraced the whole department." Eunjae glared at me.

"Would you just shut up and listen to me?" I sternly said and he looked away. "I'm not a traitor okay? I'm working undercover." "Undercover?" Robin frowned. "Yes. We don't have time for any chit-chats, I've managed to get the gates at the back to open for some time, and you both have to make it before anyone knows." I then explained them the way to get to the main road that I saw the other way. "Just take this." I handed the phone I got from Daisy. "Use this to call the department and don't stop any cars until you're confirmed it's the department. Okay?"

They nodded as they stood up from the chairs. They could hardly walk.

"Will you make it out in time?" I asked. "Yes, Sir. We can do it." Robin confirmed. "Robin take care of Eunjae, he's badly beaten, he will need help." I said to him and he nodded.

I showed them the way to the kitchen from where they can get out.
I couldn't accompany them because of the cctv. I can't afford to get caught in them. The way to this room had blank areas in the cams that is only why I could get here.

"Sir?" Eunjae called before he left. "Yes?"

"I'm very glad to see you alive. And very happy that you're okay. We all were very worried for you. But we knew that you are not weak, and that is why we were hopeful that you'll be all right. Hye-jin will the happiest to see you back. All the best Sir." He smiled at me with tears glistening in his eyes, which made me smile sadly.

"See you soon, Eunjae." He saluted me and ran out of the room.

I waited for sometime before slowly creeping back to my room.

Just as I opened the door of my room,  I heard a gun fire outside.
With nothing good thoughts in my mind, I ran outside from where I thought I heard it.

I ran outside from the kitchen backdoor, into the lawn.
My speed increased as I saw someone laying on the ground, I look around and there stood Jimin and his guards, with Robin struggling with the guards. My speed slowed down as I got nearer to the person.

"Eunjae?" I called for him, but no answer, not even his chest moving, or maybe it's because it was his back.

I stood beside him. "Eunjae!?" I called again, a little louder. No answer again. I look back at Jimin, even if it was night, I could feel his death glare at me.

The moonlight shined on Eunjae, and I could see his bullet wound on his waist.
I kneel down, placing my hands slowly on his wound.

"Eunjae." I called again, as my voice broke. "No. Not again. Not again!!! No!!!!" I cried as my hands turned into fists as I placed them on my knees.

"Please don't die. I've already lost Ryan and Elisa, I can't take this burden anymore. What will I say to the others?" I whispered as I sobbed.

I couldn't even turn his body to face him. The smiled that he just gave me was the only thing repeating in my mind, the last moments.
I've failed enough people to be failing more.

"I'm sorry Eunjae. I'm really sorry. All I wanted was you to leave this place, and more than that just live. But I couldn't help you." I tried to hold my tears back.

Yeah. This is definitely the old Jimin.
