We were now having dinner, all the eight of us.

And these 7 looked more awkward than me.

Did they wanted to tell me something?

"Uh…how did the day go?" Jimin questioned, and everyone looked at eachother.

"It was stressful, because Robin's past have a lot of loopholes in it. It's hard to decide what the truth is." Yoongi muttered as he ate.

"Yes. He have been in every business of ours, so it really difficult to keep him out, without actually keeping him out." Namjoon said.

"I think Jimin's just talking about the day, and nothing about work." Jin suggested.

"Oh yeah it was nice." Hoseok said.

I was done eating so I was about to stand and go.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked.

"I'm done eating."

"Sit down for a while more. It won't hurt will it." Jimin said.

"Do you all have something to tell me? Because I feel like you do." I said what was in my mind.

They all slowly turned to eachother, waiting for the other person to speak.

"Okay then." I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"We have an offer." Taehyung said.

I sit down again, frowning at the word offer.

"Again?" I said.

"We have an empty slot for the leader's position." Jimin said and my eyes wide opened.

I pointed at everyone before speaking. "The leader's position?" I asked again and Jimin nods.

I let out a chuckle, a weird out chuckle. "You can't be serious, are you?"

"We are serious Y/n." Jin assured.

"Are you guys idiots?" I bluntly said and they look offended somehow. "I have been deceiving you all from the beginning and you want to give me the leader's position?" I scoffed.

"You're Uncle Han-gyeol's and Aunt Sierra's daughter. You deserve this position." Namjoon said and I shook my head.

"You found that out now and that's why you want to treat me like this? What if you never knew? Huh?" I asked, and they all kept quiet. "See. You don't have any answers. And the person who always knew about me, never once thought about that. But instead wanted to kill me." I looked at Jimin.

"That was in the past Y/n. I've changed now." He sternly said. "But I can't let go of the past Jimin. I tried talking to you. Making you understand my emotions, but you never did, you never forgave me. But now that you wanna change all of a sudden and make things right, I'm supposed to forgive you? You went through pain, I know, I understood that pain too, I was forgiving you too. But once you heard me say otherwise, not even knowing the truth about what you heard, you decided to put on the show. I don't care whether you actually killed them or not, but the fact that you went to that extents, hurts me." I pointed at my heart.

"I tried to make you understand when we were children, I tried when you brought me here, tortured me. And even after those several times, you still couldn't say that you did. And now you ask for forgiveness once and I'm supposed to give you that easily?" I sighed. *"Anyways, what I was trying to say was that my loyalty doesn't lie with you, never will. Let me ask you this. Will you leave everything if I ask you to, to make things right?" I questioned Jimin and he didn't answer.

"Exactly. You have your reasons to be loyal to your people, this is your life. You can't leave it. And I feel the same towards my work. I was emotionally struggling between hurting my friend and being disloyal to my duties, but if I knew that my friend never saw me as one, I might have chosen my duties." I said as I turned away toward the door.

"You're father was loyal to us." Yoongi said and I stopped turning towards him.

"He was a friend of Jimin's father, so obviously he was loyal to him." I reasoned.

"Not only that way Y/n. You're father, Uncle Han-gyeol, was a part of this Dynasty." Taehyung said.

I somehow always expected this after seeing mother's and the others friendship , but after actually hearing it I felt weird. I kept quiet not knowing what to say.

"Uncle has always been working for the Dynasty. He was our undercover as police captain. Didn't you ever thought how a gangster and a police could become such good friends?" Jungkook added.

"I know that you are loyal to your duties because of your father, but think about who your father was loyal to." Jin said, and I stared at him with a frown.

So now I'm supposed to be betray my department too? My duties too? Whatever I thought was right for me, was never true?

"Y/n. I've broken Aunt Sierra and your heart, so much so that nothing I do will lessen the pain, and this is the only way I think Uncle Han-gyeol will forgive me. And the only way to make you stay with me, so that I prove that I've changed." Jimin said.

Everyone of us turn to look at Jimin who was staring at me with a soft look.

I simply looked away and walked out of there.

Namjoon knocked on the door before entering my room.

"If you're here about the offer, I'm not in the mood." I said as I kept the cloth, in my hands, on the bed.

"I'm not here to talk about that, let's talk about you." He said and sit himself on the bed, staring at me.

"Let's how you're feeling." He said and I sat beside him.

"You know before when you were a kid, you used to talk to me about your feelings. You even told me that you didn't like Jimin that much because he'd always sticked with you 24/7." He said and I chuckled.

"Ah so that was you." I arched my eyebrows at him.

"So let's talk?"

"I don't know what I'm even feeling right now. You know how your mind goes blank, not knowing what to think, when the thing you thought was the truth was never true. I thought father would want me to be this, but now you're saying otherwise." I snickered at myself.

"You know Jimin too went through this." Namjoon had a half smile on his face.

"When we spoke to him about his mistakes, he too had the look like you did. He wasn't ready to accept the mistake when he pushed you away. But people grow into a better person when they accept their mistakes and try to make them right, and that is what Jimin's trying to do, and all of us are trying. I'm not forcing you to forget everything and forgive us for what we did. But if you want to stay in the past, it'll give you nothing more than pain." Namjoon clarified.

"We can't grow and we can't live if we keep on latching to our past."

"But what about the pain I received, should I just forget how mistreated I was? Didn't I deserve to be treated better?" I asked.

"You were and you are. And that is why we're trying to give what you deserve. Whatever we did was our mistake, and now we really want to become better. And that is possible if you give us a chance." Namjoon said.

"I can give you a chance, but I don't know the offer."

"Is your problem the offer or Jimin?" Namjoon questions, and I look away from him.

"You…you don't even remembered us properly. But Jimin was always in your mind, and I somehow understand how much pain that would give you. But he's changing like he said, he's changing for good, he's changing for you. And just like you're giving us a chance, give him a chance, again." He puts his hand on my shoulder.

"And if he breaks his promise again, I'll make sure he'll feel the same pain that you did. Okay." Namjoon nods his head, confirming.

I nod in reply and he pats my head.

"Okay. I'm happy if I could help you." He said and stood up.

"One more thing. We won't break your trust, and we too hope the same." He smiled and his dimples appeared. "Goodnight Y/n." He wished and walks out.

Jimin put his pain aside to give me some happiness, should I try too?
