I opened the door to see Stacy and the boys. It was late but I didn't care. I was just happy to have them. Stacy, of course, got this look of pure rage and I frowned looking back to see Anti sitting on the couch looking about ready to hit someone.

"I thought he wasn't going to be here." Her voice was cold and callous. Already I could feel my own anger rising. I gripped the door tightly doing everything I could not to snap at her.

"I tried." Anti called over as he started to cough. "These bozos wouldn't let me." Stacy gripped the boys hands tighter as the kids looked over with apprehension. They had never met Anti but they heard the stories. And... And they knew Anti knew about them. They knew what Anti tried to do. The problem was Anti didn't remember any of that. "Don't even think about taking those boys and r̸u̶n̸ning of̶f̵." His voice went deep and I frowned looking over to see them turning black. "You m̶a̸de a p̶r̸o̷m̴ise, S̴t̷a̴c̸y̸.̸ I in̶t̶e̶nd to̴ ̴h̴o̸l̸d you ̵t̵o̴ ̷i̷t."

"Anti, Be nice." I whispered seeing Anti scoff.

"I am̴.̵ ̸S̷h̵e's the cock sucking bitch." Stacy gasped as she glared the glitchy ego down. Anti just laughed.

"ANTI!" I yelled out and he froze. His eyes were completely black by now and I couldn't help but tense up.

"T̵h̴a̸t̵ ̸w̴a̴s̵n̸'̵t̷ ̴m̵e̸.̷ ̷T̷o̸ ̴b̶e̴ ̶h̸o̸n̴e̶s̸t̷.̷.̵.̷ ̸I̴ ̶c̶o̵u̴l̵d̶n̴'̵t̶ ̶g̶i̸v̸e̷ ̴t̵w̶o̸ ̴s̴h̶i̶t̴ ̵a̸b̶o̸u̷t̸ ̶h̸e̷r̶.̴" His eyes went back to being brown and returned the glare right back over to Stacy. "She just has a way of pissing me off."

"You're the monster that..." Anti winced reaching up to the fresh wraps Henrik had put on and I frowned. "I don't understand why Jack is..."

"Stacy, shut up!" I finally snapped and the look on her face said she was not expecting it. "I will not have you disrespecting my friend like that." That look of pure horror on her face would have been almost comical if she wasn't backing away with the boys. Anti growled and glitched out. Stacy froze the moment she backed in the glitchy ego. His eyes were still brown but part of me didn't think that was good.

"Did you forget already?" His smile was full of malice and Stacy knew it was all directed at her. She spun around pushing the boys back behind her and I quickly reacted by pulling them in the house. She was far to busy staring at Anti to even care.

"What... Do you think you can just do this and Chase would forgive you for what you did?" I tensed up. He doesn't remember that... He doesn't... It wasn't...

"Of course not." My eyes went wide as I looked up to see him glaring at Stacy his eyes went black again and I narrowed mine. He did remember? "This isn't some half baked attempt at reconciliation. T̷h̷i̴s̵ ̵i̴s̴ ̶j̶u̴s̶t̷ ̷s̸i̷m̷p̵l̶y̵ ̴m̷e̵ ̸p̶u̷t̵t̵i̷n̶g̶ ̴y̵o̸u̶ ̶i̶n̴ ̵y̸o̶u̶r̶ ̶p̷l̵a̷c̸e̶.̸" He glanced over at me and narrowed his eyes before he stepped out of Stacy's way. "G̶o̸ ̸h̵o̶m̵e̴,̸ ̸S̴t̵a̵c̴y̴.̵ You can pick them up again on Monday." Her eyes started to burn with a literal fire as Anti's eyes went normal again. He just looked... sad again. He looked broken. He looked... depressed. "I promise they... I won't do a thing. Just... let Chase have time with his sons." He started to cough again a Stacy stormed off and I frowned. He looked sick. He looked depressed. I didn't like it.

"Sam?" He looked over at me and shot me this sad smile before nearly collapsing. I ran over to catch him and he sighed.

"Sorry." I just frowned as I carefully carried him back over to the couch. "Henrik said to take it easy."

"Dad?" I looked over to see Trey glancing between me and Anti and I frowned. He looked scared but he also looked worried. Greyson had run off to find his toys so I really didn't know how he felt about this. His eyes narrowed as he pointed over at Anti. "His necks bleeding."

"Shit." I cursed as I looked to see the wrap was bleeding through again. I went to check it went Anti pushed my hand away.

"Leave it." I looked up to see him looking away. "It's not... something you can take... care of."

"Explain?" He just smiled as he leaned back against the arm of the couch letting his eye fall a bit. "Sam..."

"Shh... Chase. Stop worrying about the glitch and care for your sons." I pulled Anti up much to his dismay and he glared at me. "Chase..."

"Dad?" I glanced over to see him pointing again this time behind us and I turned to see a few knifes in the air. My whole body went cold. None of them were pointed towards my son but still. I glanced over to see Anti literally about to fall asleep standing up and I slapped him across the face, startling him. The knifes fell creating a clinking sound on the floor and Anti's eyes went wide.

"Things happen when your asleep." His eyes narrowed and I frowned.

"Well if you had let me leave, you wouldn't be having to worry about it?" He sat back down with a yawn. "Beside you guys woke me up."

"You were bleeding out."

"I was fine..."

"SAM!" He flinched a bit and I felt someone tug at my hoodie.

"Why are you calling him Sam?" Trey looked between the two of us honestly curious. I was... shocked, to say the least. He wasn't a child not by a long shot. He was 15 and very smart. It's no wonder he would latch on to something like this. I just didn't think he would want to know more about Anti.

"Trust me, kid, you don't want to know." Anti started to laugh and Trey shot him a dirty look.

"I'm not a kid, and I'm smarter than you think. I'll find out eventually. Like I found out why you pulled that stunt..." Anti's eyes went wide and he started to cough more cutting Trey off, who honestly looked worried.

"Why I did what?" I frowned. Maybe he didn't remember. This was all confusing. I wish Anti would just tell us what's going on with him. "Y-You c-couldn't possibly..." Trey just smirked deviously. I had never seen him look so manipulative before. "I swear it's not..."

"Where's my dad's hat?" I tensed up. As I do every time it's mentioned I started to get upset. It meant so much to me and Anti he... I glanced over to see Anti as white as a ghost. "Do you still have it or..."

"Trey stop. There's no point in..." Anti held his hand out cutting me off and I froze seeing this green fog glitch around it. He snapped and I frowned seeing Trey's hat in his hands. "Anti, what..." I looked over to see my hat on Trey, but I knew... I knew I was still wearing one. I reached up feeling the brim of a hat and I frowned pulling it off only for my breath to stop.

"I... I'm sorry. I didn't know. I didn't know how much it meant to you. I swear." Anti sighed placing Trey's hat on the couch before struggling to stand up. "I'm sorry." He glitched out before I could say anything else. I was just standing there staring at my old hat. MY hat... It looked like it did the day he took it. Not a single scratch or anything. How... Why? Trey walked over taking my other one off and putting his old one on before handing mine back to me.

"I'd give him this one." I narrowed my eyes as Trey started to laugh. "Jeez, Dad. You sure are clueless."
