"So why does Dad call you Sam?" I frowned as I looked over at Trey who was currently cutting some construction paper. I noticed Jack narrow his eyes as he looked up at me questioningly.
"It's nothing really." Trey just frowned as I went back to helping the little boy in my lap. Greyson was young. He was more interested in his toy car, then he was in arts and crafts. Jack thought that the kids should do some activities and of course, he roped me into it as well. I hadn't expected the small one to attach himself to me though. It... It was nice. But you're also terrified, Sam. Of course, I'm terrified. You know what I remember. Greyson reached over placing his car on the paper and I smiled. He looked up at me questioningly and I nodded. "Sure thing, bud. I'll make a car one." The smile he had was infectious. Jack was just grinning away while he watched. Trey, on the other hand, would not let the question drop.
"If it wasn't a big deal, Dad wouldn't be giving stink eyes to people who call you Anti." I cringed slightly. Hey, Anti isn't a bad name. We are Anti. You just prefer Sam. Leave me alone on this one please. Jack frowned again looking confused.
"It's nothing. I don't even remember why he started calling me that." It was after you both did that experiment with hypnosis. I narrowed my eyes in thought as Anti just kept talking. You really don't remember what you spoke about while being under? No... All I can remember is him. Why? Did I tell him to call me Sam? Probably. Considering how you smile every time someone calls you that instead. I frowned looking down at the paper I currently had in my hands. It doesn't look anything like a car. No duh, you keep distracting me. I glanced over at Greyson and frowned. I did promise him... Glitch it up!
"Well, it's important to him. So... Why does he call you Sam?" Jack started to tense up as my hand began to glitch. I was trying very hard to ignore the boy but his questions kept coming. "In fact, how did you two get so close already? Dad was even defending you against mom and he never snaps at her." The glitching on my hand got worse as the green fog started to appear and I could see Jack getting worried. The thing was... It wasn't about Trey. I watched as the glitches traveled to the paper warping it until it formed a car. I just smiled brightly. Jack just stared with wide eyes.
"Honestly, Trey I really don't have a clue." I smiled up at the young man as I place the car paper down and set to making wheels. Jack was still just watching. I think he thought you were going to lash out. Why would I lash out? Because that kid is annoying? I frowned a bit as I started to glue the first wheel down and I sighed. He's just asking questions. Beside... I'm too tired to deal with any drama right now. Plus this is Chase's son. I see... You can hurt he's because he's that morons offspring. He's not a moron and they're good kids. Shut up!.
"Anti." I frowned slightly hearing Jack call out that name and I sighed. Maybe it is kinda something. Otherwise, it wouldn't upset me so much.
"Sam?" I looked up almost instantly to see Chase standing there with a small smile on his face.
"DADDY!" Greyson jumped off my lap and ran over to his father laughing and talking a mile a minute about the car I was making him. Chase just laughed a little as he looked over to see I was, in fact, making a car. Henrik stood behind him with narrowed eyes and I started to frown. I guess you got another session there, Sammy. I'm thinking you're right.
"Dad, why do you keep calling him, Sam?" I burst out laughing catching all of their attention as I slowly set the scissors down. It was actually nice. To think this kid cared that much. even if it was just simply a need for the information, it was still nice to see him try so hard.
"I just... like that name." Trey narrowed his eyes as I slowly stood up stretching a bit and smiled. "Hey, do you mind finishing your bothers car. I think they're here for me." Trey nodded and I glanced over at Jack who was staring at the table with sad eyes. "Jack?"
"Hmm?" He looked up with this confused expression and I frowned. Do you think he's thinking about if you remember? Why would he... You're going be a different name, Sam. He's probably thinking about all the years prior. The ones you still don't remember. Why would that... Think about it, Sam? All the memories you've gained so far are bad... what makes you think they all aren't? Well, are they? You remember them. "Anti are... Are you ok?" I was shaking slightly as the thought ran through my mind. I tried to smile but the fear made it look broken. "Anti?" You're a demon, Sam. A demon that has attacked them all many different times. Why wouldn't he fear you getting your memories back? He's probably terrified that the moment you do you're going to attack them again. "An..."
"Sam?" I glanced over at Chase again and frowned. He was giving me this worried look that pulled at your heartstrings. It made you feel guilty for being upset. I sighed and plastered on that fake smile i've had for so long now and just laughed.
"I'm ok. Got lost in my thoughts..." His eyes darkened a bit as I moved away from the table... away from Jack. I don't... I don't want to hurt him. You never have Sam. That's never stopped you from attacking him though. I swallowed the pain that came from the guilt and just sighed. "So are we having another session?"
