"She won't eat her food." I whine to Zach.

"Well, what are you feeding her?" He asks.

"Mushed peas."

"Now I understand why she won't eat it that shit is disgusting Bambi, even I wouldn't put it in my fucking mouth."

I roll my eyes.

"You are such a role model."

"I try to be." 

Sighing, I take Meadow out of her highchair and into my arms.

"She's being fussy today."

"No, she's not she just doesn't want to be fed shit." Zach laughs loudly.

"If you keep annoying me then I'm going to bring up Bru-

"What part of we don't talk about Bruno do you not understand?" He interrupts me.

"Wasn't it on your mating day?" I smirk causing Zach to groan.

"Yes, and he walked in with a mischievous grin, but we are not going to talk about that day ever again Bambi, it was absolutely horrible."

"Oh, come on it wasn't that bad."

"Seriously? Aurora, he predicted that it would rain, and it fucking did. That man is bad luck no matter where he goes."

"But he's your friend."

"Was." He pouts.

I shake my head in amusement before looking down at Meadow who seemed to be in her own little world as always. Sometimes I wondered what she would be thinking about or was she really thinking at all, Jax told me that's just what babies do at this age is to space out all the time. But he always says she's probably thinking about something to cry about which I found ridiculous.

"When do you think Jaxon will be back? I think Meadow misses her daddy."

"And I think you miss daddy too." Zach winks at me.

"What?" I ask completely lost.

My dad's dead.

Zach just chuckled and shook his head.

"You are so clueless sometimes and you wonder why I call you Bambi."

"Because you're a jerk." I grin.

"Call me what you want but I know it and so does Jaxon."

"You two talk about me behind my back?" I narrow my eyes at him.

"Yes, but it's all good things." He shrugs.

"Hm."

"If you don't believe me then ask your man when he gets home which could be awhile from now because he's in a meeting." Suddenly Zach's eyes changes to gold. 

This told me that he was using the mind link, probably talking to Jax.

"Great." I lay Meadow down in the crib, she was fast asleep.

"So, since the little urchin is down what do you want to do?" 

"I'm not sure, usually I would do laundry or something."

"Boring! You need a break and I know just what you need." Zach gets up from the couch and walks into the kitchen. 

My eyes widen when I see him opening Jaxon's alcohol stash.

"I am not drinking."

"Yes, you are, and you'll be fine. I won't let you drink too much."

Five minutes later...

"Pressure like a grip, grip, and it won't let go!" I sang loudly, as I took another swig of the whiskey.

"Sing it Beyonce!" Zach slurred.

We might be a little drunk.

"I'm telling you man! When me and Jaxon have sex it feels good like... I've never seen anything so big in my entire life." I giggled.

"Yes girl get that dick." He gives me a high five.

"I remember when me and my mate used to fuck every night."

"Was it good?" I ask.

"Oh yeah. Really goood." He laughs.

"Right on brother." I pick up another bottle but this time it's vodka.

"I wonder why Jaxon kept so much alcohol?"

"Probably because he's secretly an alcoholic." Zach whispers.

"Damnnn." I nod my head in agreement.

"I think we're being a bad influence on Meadow."

"Hey we moved her into a different room." Zach points out.

"Yeah we did...I am such a good mother."

"Yes you are now pass me some of that."

I nod and hand him the bottle but before he could grab it the door opened.

"What. The. Hell." Jaxon's eyes looked between us.

Me and Zach freeze and look at each other before turning to face Jax.

"So...Are we gonna talk about Bruno?" I ask nervously.
