Once those words slipped out of my mouth I immediately regretted it. Jaxon and Zach looked at me with wide eyes and shocked expressions.

Oh no.

Maybe they were both mad at me for talking, I should have just stayed quiet but my love for cookies won me over.

I expected Jaxon to slap me or yell but he didn't. Soon I was engulfed in a pair of strong arms.

"You finally spoke!" Jaxon hugged me tightly.

"S-Sorry?" My mouth was so dry and my throat felt like sand paper. I haven't spoken in so long that it actually felt strange.

"Don't ever apologize, oh god." His grip tightened.

"Too tight."

"Sorry." I take a deep breath when he let's me go.

"I don't mean to ruin the mood," Zach starts to laugh," But I didn't think your first words would be about cookies."

"Me neither." Jaxon chuckles.

"Is t-that bad?"

"Not at all baby, do you want a glass of water?"

"Yes please." He runs over to the refrigerator and grabs a water bottle. Walking back over to me he hands it to me and I gladly take it.

Quickly I start to chug it down.

"Well someone was thirsty." Zach winks at Jaxon who growls.

"Watch it."

When I was done I threw the bottle in the trash and looked back at Jaxon who was beaming with joy.

"W-What?" I giggle.

"Nothing, I'm just happy."

"Me too."

"I think this calls for a celebration!"

"No it doesn't."

"Jaxon, you really going to shut me down like that?"

"Yes because I want to spend some alone time with my girl." I blush.

"Oh shit, you two are about to get it on tonight!"

"Zachhh." I whine.

"Shut the hell up." Jaxon chuckles.

"You guys are meanies."

I laugh as Zach stomped away, leaving me alone with Jaxon.

"So...Do you wanna like do something" I look around.

Jaxon smirks and grabs me by the waist making me squeal.

"Well there's always been something I wanted to show you ever since you got here but I thought it wasn't the right time but now I beg to differ." His eyes stare down at my lips.

"Show me what?" My head tilts to the side in curiosity.

"It's a surprise."

"Ohh I see." I act as if I knew what he was talking about.

"You have no idea what a surprise is, do you?"

"Not a clue." He laughs and takes my hand in his.

"Let me show you then."

Leading me out the door we walk down a stone path that led to a clearing that was surrounded by flowers. I gasped in amazement on how pretty and beautiful everything looked. I've never been surprised before or even knew what a surprise was but it definitely felt special.
