"I still can't believe you are here." Buster said as we walked to where his car was.

"To be honest, neither can I." I said, getting into the car.

"Where are you staying? I can drive you there and we can catch up." He said, looking at me.

"Well, I'm not really staying anywhere. We didn't plan that far ahead." I laughed.

"Should have known. You can stay with me. I have an extra room." He offered.

"Thanks. But it's fine. I can just get a hotel."

"Oh too late. We are already on the way to my house." He said, smiling at the road.

I punched his arm lightly and sat back in my chair. I still couldn't believe this was happening.

"I missed you." He said, catching my attention.

"You're telling me."

"No really. I missed you so much. Like I was heartbroken. I thought would never see you again." He said, and I swear in that moment, my heart broke.

"Awe Busterrr. I'm going to cry." I said, covering my face with my hands.

"No no no. Don't cry. That's not what I want to happen. This is supposed to be happy." He rushed his words.

I uncovered my face and smiled. I looked at him, admiring him. He is such a sweet person. He was still the same Buster I knew back in high school. He's very down to earth. Not to mention how adorable he looks with helmet hair.

"I look adorable with helmet hair?" He asked, a smug look on his face. I felt my face turn red.

"Oh god. I'm so embarrassed." I slumped back in my seat.

He laughed. "Alright we are here."

I unbuckled and climbed out of the car. I followed him to the door as he unlocked it and held it open for me. He showed me to the room I'd be staying in.

"And this is your room. My room is right there," he pointed to a door at the end of the hall. "I'll be in the shower if you need me. Make yourself at home."

I thanked him before he disappeared into his room. I walked into my room and set my bag down on the bed in front of the closet. I went and literally fell onto the bed.

Buster's POV

"Sam?" I called throughout the house, running my fingers through my hair. "Sam?"

There was no answer so I went over to her room. The door was open so I pushed it open and saw her asleep on the bed. I laughed and walked in quietly so she wouldn't wake up.

I pulled a blanket out of the closet and threw it over her. "Sweet dreams." I whispered before walking out of the and closing the door quietly.

I woke up and looked around. Where was I again? Oh yeah! Buster's house. I stood up and stretched before looking around for a bathroom. I finally found one and looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't look too bad.

I walked into the living room and saw him sitting on the couch. His eyes wandered from the tv and he smiled. "Good morning."

"Technically it's nighttime." I said, sitting on the couch.

"Now I remember why I don't like you." He joked, earning a pillow thrown at him.

"I'm heartbroken." I said. He laughed.

"I'm so very not sorry." He said and I kicked his leg.

"You know, you're lucky you play baseball."

"Why? What would you do?" He said, moving so he was beside me.

I punched his arm and he rubbed it. "Ow."

"Told you." I raised my eyebrows at him and grabbed a blanket. "I'm tired."

"Go to bed."

I gave him a 'duh' look and leaned my head on the armrest of the couch, and scrunched my legs up so they weren't on Buster's.

He grabbed my legs and put them over his lap. I looked at him confused.

"You don't have to be awkward around me."
