Chapter - 10 The Call

Mikael POV

"Oh.... Hello son..... Um... How are you? "My mother said. The mother that never bothered to contact me in all those years is now asking my well being. That's absolutely not so comforting. It's not at all comforting. Not beating around the bush I asked, " Why did you call? " Frowning and sounding a bit stern, but I wanted to sound harsh because after hearing her voice what I felt was not happiness or relief , I felt anger and hatred towards her. She didn't speak for a moment  , I guess my tone was not what she was expecting. "If you are going to waste my time and not say anything then I am hanging up" I said now sounding the way I wanted to.

"That's no way to speak to your mother son. " Someone spoke in a deep , heavy voice that I hated the most, my father's."Oh.... Is she now my mother? I don't remember having one. " I replied with the same tone in which he spoke. He growled. I growled back. "I am saying it again , if you are done wasting my time than I am hanging up. " I said. But before I could cut the call he spoke, "I want you to come back here before this Sunday."
"No" I simply said.
"WHAT?....... What did you just say?" He yelled. I flinched a bit listening his voice, but calming myself down I repeated again , " I said I am not coming back . " My voice stern and rude as Skoll added his voice to mine .
"Don't fly to high son. I want you to be back home  as soon as possible" He said using his Alpha commanding tone to order me. If I was back at pack I would have immediately bared my neck to him and listen to whatever he said, but I am not and I will not listen to a father who had never been one to me.
"Why? " I asked.
"That's not important. All you need to know that its must that you return. I will tell when you are back home. " He said sounding more grave and heavy.
" I am busy. And first of all , the place that you call home is nothing to me. Second your alpha tone is useless on me and third don't call me again like you never did in the past 10 years. I don't need you and you don't need me. "I said.
" Hahaha....... Don't try to lie to me son. I know that you are free for the next 20 days or so. The second phase of whatever training you are doing dose not start before the 5 th of next month. "He said. I felt my anger built up as I force Skoll to stop from saying something. I can feel his anger too.
"You can go back to you pathetic life once the matter is done but you have to come back. I know you hate me, I can sense it in your voice. I don't care what you think, just be here before this Sunday. " Saying so he hung up.
As I heard him cut the call my anger finally burst and I turned towards the balcony and threw my phone out.

Well just before it went over the railing it suspended in the air for a second before flying past me. I turned to see which of the two sisters it was because I knew it, that it must be them and I was so angry that I didn't pay attention to my surroundings as to when and which one is here.
"What made you so angry Mika that made you throw your phone? " She asked.
"Look at the call log and you will know." I said and turned just in time to meet Damon's large chest. He embraced me and I melted in his arms, my anger going away and a smile spreading across my face.
"That Bitch!!!!!!" She shouted.
I looked up past Damon's shoulder to see Vanessa's red fury filled face.
"Yeah ...... That Bitch. " I repeated her words not feeling an ounce of respect or love or anything for the woman who is my mother by blood.
" Yes Mika she is bitch for behaving like that. " Skoll said to me smirking and agreeing to what I felt for her and her husband and that was absolute anger and hatred.

"Which Bitch? " Damon asked raising an eye brow and then leaning down to kiss me.
Oh... His lips, just what I wanted. I can't help falling for him everyday. He is just the one. I even sometimes wonder if he is my mate and I just don't feel it because he is a human. Vanessa walked out of the lift towards the bar and prepared three glasses of scotch for us, while Doman and I were busy getting more passionate in our kiss as we faught for dominance. Our mouths sucking in each other's lips and our tongues dancing in our mouths. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held my waist with one hand and holding my head with other.

We both were pulled out of each other's embrace by a cough and a clearing of throat indicating that Alicia has also returned. Both I and Damon parted and looked towards Alicia.
"Welcome back little sweetness" I said welcoming her, my previous anger vanishing from myself. Skoll was also happy seeing Alicia. He was very and over protective of her.
Alicia walked in smiling and came straight to me  and hugged me.

"What's up.......except for you two?" She said with cute smile on her face.
"Mika's mother just called him. " Said Vanessa , who was sitting on the sofa on the other side of the center table,drinking her scotch with grave expression on her face. Alicia face changed from a happy one to furious one in seconds and said, "that old Bitch? Why is she calling him after all these years?"
" I am not quite following . "Damon interrupted not before me bursting in laughter.
" I didn't know that you both have the same impression of her. "I said holding onto Damon's arm and pulling him down to sit with me on the sofa. Alicia sat next to Vanessa and grabbed my phone from her hand to check it. With Damon here my mind stopped thinking about anything other than him as I snuggled more into him and he wrapped his arm around me.

" What did she say? "Vanessa asked changing my mood from romantic to stressed in seconds.
