Chapter - 19 Girlfriend

Mikael's POV

"You found your mate." Two people spoke at the same time, and I was amused to find both of them were girls.
"I could sense drama rolling in now mate. This brother of ours is really something. " Skoll said.
"Yes mate I could smell it too. " I replied Skoll. Well, one of the two people who spoke was James' twin Marissa and the other was a girl from the beta family. My left eye brow went up on it own.
"And who would you be to ask that miss? I get Marrisa asking this question but I don't get you?" I asked the girl from the beta family.
" I am Maya the daughter of the former beta. My elder brother is the current beta of this pack. I am James girlfriend." She informed that with a smirk on her face. My heart sank a little as I glared James. Skoll was a whole new level angry. I was constantly trying to keep him in calm. I then looked Alicia who was poking her plate for while now , put her fork down and turned to me and said, "Well guess what Mika, your brother turned out to be a jerk after all just like your whole family. Now I don't have to accept this mating thing of werewolves with James and I am convinced that I don't have to stay here after all. This is good. " She sounded hurt.
"How dare you speak ill about the alpha family? You filthy human. "Maya got up from her seat and was glaring at Alicia.
"I just stated the truth of this family."Alicia retorted, not even looking at her and went back to eating her food. Maya's face turned red with anger and she was going to do say something before her lips get stuck to each other . " Mmmm.... Mm.... Mmmm.... Mmmm.. "Was all she could do. Everyone else present there were dumbfounded . Maya's mother got worried about her daughter and started consoling her. Seeing Maya helpless I burst into laughter. Now I became the focus of everyone.
" Such a pity that I am not a filthy human, I am a Salem Witch. Alicia Salem." Alicia said standing up and going over to Maya.
"I don't like your voice it's sounds like a pig. So I made you shut up. The more you try to open your mouth the more the magic will become strong. And you will only be able to speak when I myself remove the magic...... Now do you see how easily a mere filthy human can take you down. " She said patting Maya's back. Then she turned to James.
"I won't accept the mating bond. " Alicia declared.
"Wait... No don't..... Please.... It's him right , it's because Mikael filled you with wrong conceptions about us that you are rejecting our bond. Right? " James flared up and said.
Alicia laughed. "Now that I see myself how broken this place is I know I will never accept this place. And for your information, Mika was the one who convinced me to give you a chance, but you ruined it yourself." She said. These words dropped like a bomb on James and his anger was replaced by guilt as he turned to look at me. Alicia came back beside me , sat down and went back to eating. I felt at her behavior, not matter she couldn't leave her food. If there is something that she loves more than her family is her food.
"Now that one drama is over, I would like to cut to chase to the other. What happens to Alicia and James is a matter of tomorrow and it's between them so they should sort it out....... Now why did you call your first born son back when you clearly think of me as a symbol of shame and discarded me 12 years ago? "I said leaning back on my chair and folding my hands in front of my chest.
" That's is none of your business. You are my son and a part of this pack. You have duties towards this that you should carry on. The reason I call is one of them. "Mr. Wulfric stated.
" Alicia don't unpack anything we are leaving tonight after the dinner. "I stated.
" Gladly " She said.
"What are saying Mika? Don't defy your father. What he said is correct you sho-" Mrs. Wulfric started saying but I interrupted her.
" You don't get to call me Mika. Only my real family has that right.The Moonlight pack is nothing to me. You and your husband just gave birth to me nothing else. You don't even cared for me like actual parents should do. You both are nothing to me. Your other children might be my siblings but they don't know a thing about me neither do I know anything about them except their names. The only reason I came was to cut ties with this fucking pack. If you could not tell the actual reason why you called me back then I am leaving after completing the ritual of breaking the link. And about those duties that your husband talks about Mrs. Wulfric, I would have carried them if this pack has given me the sense of protection and the urge to protect it to me that a wolf needs. But no. I received all the love and care and security from someone else. Now they are my pack and my duties are towards them. "I said.

" Even I don't have any value in your eyes my little sweetness. " I heard a  sweet as honey voice say. My little sweetness is what I address Alicia with because this is what my grandma used to call me. I immediately got up from my seat and turned in the direction of the source of the voice the most caring voice. My tears fell without my permission when I finally saw her. The one who cared for me the most here. My grandma my Maria.
"Maria..... Oh Maria. " I ran and hugged her. She welcomed me open arms. The motherly love that I should have received from my mother was bestowed by her.
"Oh my baby , I have missed you. " She said.
