Chapter - 25 Departure

(MIKAEL'S POV)

"WHAT?....... What are you saying brother? You're leaving? But...... " James kind of yelled at me.
"DON'T YOU DARE YELL AT ME JAMES EUGENE WULFRIC. I will not accept this behavior. " I yelled right back at him.
"Hold it you two..... Stop shouting. "Alicia said.
" I am going to pack my stuff right now....... I want you two to sort this out without shouting or yelling, or I swear you'll see the worst kind of me."She said and moved out the room. We both were left standing and staring at each other.

"What do you mean by leaving straight away after the ceremony? What about me? " James asked.
"What 'bout you? " I replied.
"You damn well know what I mean. Alicia and I are finally getting along, she finally doesn't think that I am a jerk like father. Now you are going away. You know what it's like for us when we are apart from our mates before marking and all. Then how could you even think of separating me and her? " He argued.
"I know shit about how it feels like..........and I never said that I was seperating you and her. I am just stating that we will leave. I never stopped you from tagging along. You can come if you see fit. " I said sitting down on the bed.

He stared at me with wide eyes for a moment. I stared back at him.
"What? " I said.
"Yo.. You said that I could tag along? " He asked almost confused.
"Don't give me that look . Ok. You know she is human. She won't give up her studies and ambitions just to be your mate and stay here all her life. And even if she does think about it , I will never let her. She is a salem witch she can damn well break and end the mate bond in a wink. I won't let her ruin her future, not even you. You are my brother by blood, but she and her sister are the one who gave me a family. Plus you have to deal with Vanessa. " I replied.

"Vanessa.... Her sister? " He asked. I humed in the answer.
"Vanessa is everything Alicia is. You can say that she is a version of your dear mate you don't want to deal with. Do you really think that she will let her little baby sister stay among werewolves her whole life, after the 12 years of living with and knowing about me. If you do, then you have another thing coming for you . If you want to be with your mate you have to give up the life of the "Alpha's son" or "Alpha's brother ", you have to give up the life of a werewolf . You have to give up the life of a prince that you live here..........you have to become almost human like me.......if you want to be with her..." I finished.
He stared at me till Alicia walked in the room and told me that she is ready to make a move any time.

I nodded at her.
"I need some time to think. " James said and left us both in my room. I didn't stop him and neither did Alicia. I looked at her and she looked at me.
"I know that  what you 2 talked about. Better soon than late. This has to happen. He has to choose. I feel terrible about it but........ " She wasn't able to finish.
I gave her a tight hug.
"Everything will be fine little sweetness. " I tried to console her.

The hour passed by quickly, after fully getting ready I and Alicia had our things stuffed into my car's trunk. A total of 8 cars were parked in front of the main gate of the pack house. Mr. and mrs. Wulfric sat in one with Shawn, his Mate Rowena . Patricia , Marrisa and Maria with a delta warrior sat in another. The beta family took one . I with James and Alicia sat I'm my car. The rest were taken by the Delta warriors that were coming with us.

I looked backed at the packhouse in melancholy, thinking what I have been through in this house and how even after living here for the first 14 years of my life it never became my home, it never became the place where I would like to come back after a busy day of work. My glance at the house lasted a second more before I teared my eyes away from it in hopes that I may naver see this place. I felt the Alicia's gaze the whole time I was looking at the house but she didn't say anything after we settled in the car. I on the driver 's seat with Alicia's in the front seat and James in the backseat disheartenly.

Except for James no one else knew about us leaving directly after the crowning ceremony, but I had the thought that Maria knew about this. She always knew about things...........

I am still very anxious about the fact that Skoll is not responding to any of my questions or emotions, the feeling that something that will change my life and the lives of those related to me forever.
I just hope that Skoll is there with me when life changing shit happens.

With a signal from the first car with warriors, all the others started their engins and followed it. The two and a half hour long journey to The Blessed Moon Pack went by in a flash as I was not focussing much on the time but on this new feeling that was growing inside me, something different from the anxiousness before........

I just wanted to say sorry to all my readers for not updating for so long........ The reason behind this is that my college has started and I don't get much free time between the assignments and my daily tasks. But Now I promise that I will update in every 10 days.
