Chapter - 23 The Bad Feeling

The next day  Mika woke up at 8:30 am in the morning. He found it odd that neither he had the nightmare nor Skoll woke him up he tried to talk to him but their connection was shut. Mikael couldn't hear anything from Skoll's side, it was a complete shut, not even emotions could be sensed. Mikael had a bad feeling about this situation.He was now regreting his decision of coming here. Skoll had repeatedly advised him to turn his father down, but he insisted on coming. But then mika pushed this feeling to side in his head and started his day.

The grand ceremony that Mikael's so called father has called him for is today. The Alpha and the Beta Family of every big and small pack have to attend the crowning ceremony for the Fenrirs' heir. They promise loyalty to the newly crowned king each time. It is for the king to personally meet every Alpha and beta family atleast once in his life so that he could be familiar with them.

Today's start was not a good one for Mikael, that's what he thought. Well not be surprised and haunted by a nightmare that have been a part of your life for more than 10 years, for normal people it was good but for Mikael it was a disruption to his perfectly scheduled life. He was not in a good mood. So after all the negative thinking he finally got out of the bed and went to the bathroom for his daily routine. When he came out of the bathroom it was almost 10 am . He was late today. After getting ready he went straight to the kitchen to see if there is something to eat.

Mikael's POV

I entered the kitchen and found  James and Alicia talking. James was trying hard to reduce the distance between him and Alicia but was failing terribly. They were talking about clothes. It's odd, why are they talking about clothes? As soon as they noticed me they both greeted me .
"Mika why are you so late today? " Alicia asked me.
"It's only 10 am for me it's still early. " James said. I smiled at his words.
"Yeah I know. It's weird. " I said with my brows knitted together.
"Did something happen? " Alicia asked.
"Yes........a disaster. " I replied bluntly.
"Meaning? " James intervened.
"Meaning I woke up at almost 9 in the morning." I said.
"Eh? .... How is that possible? You are always awake by 4  am in the morning ? " Alicia asked.
"4 am? That's out of the world brother. But why and how? " James said.
"Yes I know neither was I awake by 4 am nor my wolf woke me up by 6 or 7. He is not talking. Our connection is off. I have a bad feeling. I shouldn't have come. My whole self is disrupted. This is not good. Staying here is becoming more and more unbearable by every minute. ........ "
" Ok... Ok Mika that's enough I understand. Calm down. "Alicia cut me off from blabbering anymore.
I looked right into her eyes that were trying to assure me that everything will be fine. I finally let go of the breadth that I was holding on to with a loud sigh. The consoling that Alicia was trying to do , worked magically. I immediately felt a bit better, I even wondered if she did some kind of cheering magic.
" I must say that you are doing an awesome job at hiding your discomfort Mika. I know how you feel. " Alicia said.
"Well I have been the best actor for quite a few years now. " I replied.
"Big brother why do you again and again say that it's unbearable for you to be in the company of other werewolves? " James asked me.
I was dumbfounded by his question. There was a moment of silence between us. James was staring right into my eyes as I was staring into his. Before I could say anything Alicia spoke.
"Better question, clothes will be here in an hour for everyone one of us, and after talking to James I don't think clothes for you will be there. So what are you gonna do? " I have to give it to my little sweetness she is my life saver.
"Why do you say that? " I asked her.
"Well 'cause you body built is way more different than ordinary omega werewolves and omegas are rare cases. " James answered.
" I'll deal with that when the clothes will arrive. Right now I am hungry as hell. I need to eat. " I replied.
" We have burgers here. " Alicia said as she moved aside from the kitchen slab where a plate filled with burgers was kept.

I jumped on that plate of burgers. I engulfed them in as I felt my hunger increase with every bite I took.
"Wooww   woooow Mika calm down . The burgers are not going anywhere. " Alicia  said.
"I know that, but i don't know what's happening? I feel that i am getting more hungery with every bite. " I told her.
After a few minutes I have finished almost 4 burgers. Only after chewing and swallowing the last bite that I felt satisfied. That's new. I thought to myself. I was feeling something, something strange but wasn't able to put a finger on it. For the next few moments we three talked about random stuff, I saw Alicia and James bicker and I also got to see the dissatisfied look on James' face when Alicia said that  I was her favorite person and hugged me hard in front of him.
"Uff....... Big brother why is she always like this? Giving you more attention than me. I am her mate for Moon Goddess' sake. " James almost barked. I laughed loudly after hearing this.
We continued to chat a few more minutes when Shawn's beta  Mike came and told us that the clothes have arrived and the Alpha and the Luna are calling us.

We decided to end our conversation and follow towards the main hall where all the members of the Alpha and the Beta family were present. The moment we entered I felt an intense and aggressive stare. But unfortunately it was directed towards my little sweetness. I  looked around to see Maya glaring at Alicia. Seeing so I chuckled.
