Chapter 2

Another chapter!! YAY!!!

Regarding the number of chapters coming out for this fanfic and the rest of them,  I don't have a release schedule due to the fact of school and life, I'll probably only write chapters whenever I have free time, and currently, I have quite a bit. So if I don't upload a chapter after some time, don't think it's discontinued!! Either I hit writer's block or I don't have free time!!! Eventually, I will update them, just please be a bit patient.

Yusei woke up the next day and got ready to leave towards the location of the bounty, that Stray Devil was in Idaho, a complete state away from his. He was about to leave the orphanage until Lily stopped him right in tracks, Yusei explained what he was doing which got a frown from her,  "I'll call you multiple times throughout the day, Lily so don't worry about me." He tried relaxing the idea of him leaving for a few days.

Lily didn't seem to be convinced at all, "You are 13 years old and you are trying to go to a different state to fight a stronger Devil...Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds Yusei??" The only thing the latter could do was scratch his neck in embarrassment. Lily sighed, "Fine, go, don't let me stop but take this alongside with you."

She left to another room, sounds of cabinets getting opened could be heard, finally Lily came back and she handed Yusei a Holy Bible. "I'm not religious..." Yusei said awkwardly, "I know that idiot, I'm simply giving this to you because don't you remember? You used a Holy Bible against one of them back then and it hurt them, think of it as extra security." She said while shaking her head. 

Finally, Yusei remembered that it worked, feeling a bit dumb, he simply grumbled thank you before saying his goodbyes to Lily, while he was walking away from the orphanage, he heard the screams of Lily telling him not to forget to call her. A slight smile appeared on his face.

Arriving at Vinash's store, Yusei opened the door and once got the typical line from Vinash, "When will you stop with the same line Vinash, you do realize that I am your only customer." The owner smirked, "The day I get a new customer is the day I stop." This made Yusei groan as he knew that was never going to happen. 

"Anyways I am here for a smoke grenade," Yusei said, trying to change the subject, Vinash simply went to the back room and brought it out. "Here kid, that'll be $45." Yusei handed the old man the money and was about to leave the store. 

"Kid wait, I have something else to give you." Once more Vinash went to the back room and brought back a sword. "What is this?" Yusei asked, he felt some sort of power coming from the sword, "This is a Holy Sword albeit it's a weak one but still is a Holy Sword nonetheless, this should help you with your bounty, don't want you to die yet."

Yusei got the sword handed to him and he felt a bit touched, "Old man, you do care about me..." Vinash's right eyebrow twitched from the nickname, "Just leave already kid, I don't wanna deal with you calling me an old man right now..." 

Laughing Yusei left the store and hitched the bus, now he was making his way towards Idaho where his target is.

(2 Days Later)

It has been 2 days since Yusei had left his state, he had long arrived in Idaho, and through these days he had been searching for Armap, dressed in all black with a plain mask but he could not find the bounty.
