Arc 1: Deception in Heartfelt Resolutions

Yusei walked out of the airport and he was currently upset with Vali, he was supposed to join a side branch of the Chuch but somehow there was a change of plans and now here he was in Vatican City. 

Vali told him that the rumors were incorrect and that it was his bad, but Yusei questioned why that idiot believed them, perhaps Kuroka was correct, he is just a battle junkie. All brawn, no brains. 

The people in this country mainly spoke Italian which Yusei didn't speak but thankfully Vali had told him about the mission around 2 months ahead of time which gave him some time to learn basic Italian. 

He made his way throughout the country, walking towards St. Peter's Basilica, where they were recruiting Exorcists. 

Once he made it to the Church, he entered it and saw that the priest was currently preaching. Yusei didn't want to destroy his chances of entering for being disrespectful so he sat down and listened in.

Around half an hour later, it was finished and everyone was exiting the church, meanwhile, Yusei was walking towards the priest who was in a conversation with his fellow members. 

They seem to notice him because the priest asked with a smile on his face, "How can I help you, young man?" 

Yusei looked around and noticed some people haven't left yet and decided to be discreet, "I want in." He asked with a whisper. 

The priest didn't seem to understand him at first but he soon realized what this young man wanted and gestured him to follow him.

They walked inside the main area and eventually arrived at what seemed to be an office, where a lady was sitting and working on some paperwork. 

They waited for her to notice them but she didn't. "He wishes to join for the examination." The priest announced as the lady hasn't seemed to notice them inside. 

Finally, she looked up and muttered an "Uhu" while the priest nodded and left, not before Yusei gave him a thank you. 

"Sit down and wait until I finish this paperwork." The lady demanded before working once more on the pile of paperwork. 

Yusei did as asked and he waited patiently. He could tell that the woman was already upset, probably because of the paperwork and he didn't want to anger her. 

When she finished, she pulled up an application and began filling up some information before asking, "Name?" 

"Seiji Fuji," Yusei responded with a fake name, who would infiltrate one of the strongest organizations with their real names?

The lady nodded and wrote it down before further asking, "Certificate of Birth?" 

"I'm an orphan, I don't have a Certificate of Birth," Yusei answered quickly trying to get sympathy, he had no Certificate of Birth to confirm his identity because Vali didn't get one for him...

She eyed him for a few seconds trying to see if he is lying before once more writing down on the application, "I see and why do you want to apply?" 

Yusei took a fake deep breath, "I want a new chance at life, and I want God to guide my way towards my new life." 

The lady seemed to freeze for a split second when Yusei said God but relaxed once more, "Alright, that is a good reason. You're applied, come back in 3 days to take the tests."
