Two Different Heroes (Tadashi × Reader) (Completed!/editing)

The Secret: Part 1

You open your eyes and got up as soon you realized what had just happened. Ignoring all the pain in your body, you looked around trying to find what had tackled you. You took off the gold ring that your mom had given you and threw it in the air, watching the ring flip a couple of times before magically turning into a bronze sword.

You caught it in your hand just in time to hear the same screeching sound coming from behind you. Turning around, you stood in a defensive position as you looked up at the demon like winged monster charging towards you. A fury two times your size approached you quickly so you got in your fighting stance before lunging towards the monster.

You swung your sword around, trying to at least get in a good enough slash to kill the fury. After a couple more times of dodging and getting in a few hits, you stabbed the fury right in the chest, causing it dissolved into brown dust.

" Just when I thought I was having a good day." You sighed to yourself.

Suddenly, you realized that furies come in pairs, one female and the other male. The one you just killed was a female so that meant the male was lurking somewhere close by. Keeping your sword in hand you searched the remainder of the park and beach but to no avail. An uneasy feeling set in your stomach but you decided to brush it off before heading back to the lucky cat cafe.

When you walked into the cafe, you were greeted by aunt Cass and Hiro. "Hey (y/n), where were you?" Hiro asked.

"Oh I was just down by the bay. I wanted to do a little more sight seeing.'' You replied.

"Oh okay, but I thought Tadashi was with you."

You walked closer to Hiro as you guys walked up the stairs. "He was but something came up and he had to go to SFIT."

"Oh darn, you know Tadashi promised me that he would take me somewhere today." Hiro frowned seeming disappointed.

"Well maybe I can take you?" You offered kindly to the younger brother.

"Really awesome! Let's go!" Hiro became instantly happy as if he were faking being sad, and he was.

"Hold on, where are you planning to go?" You asked slightly suspicious at his change in attitude.

He laughed nervously, "I'll tell you in my room, I have to get my stuff.''

''Fine.'' You said, following him upstairs into his shared bedroom. Hiro grabbed a small black robot off of his desk and you leaned against the door frame.

''So, where are we going exactly?'' You asked, raising a brow.

''Bot fighting.'' Hiro answered casually, flashing you a gap toothed grin.

''Bot fighting? What's that?'' You asked looking at him curiously.

''It's a robot fight, and if you win you get money.'' Hiro said excitedly, waving his small bot in the air.

You only frowned at that, ''Is that legal?''

"Yes (y/n), bot fighting isn't illegal. But betting on bot fighting, now that's illegal. I don't bet because I'll be the one people are betting on, ergo I won't be doing anything illegal because I won't be betting. So it's totally fine!"

You rolled your eyes and sighed, "How did you manage to sound smart and dumb at the same exact time."

"It's a gift. Now please, can we go now? I'll miss the fight if we don't." Hiro pleaded and you finally gave in.

"I don't like the idea of bot fighting but I'll go with you so you don't get into any trouble.'' You said and he smiled, giving you a fist bump.

"Awesome! You're so much more cooler than Tadashi." Hiro laughed and you rolled your eyes.
