The Monster Fight: Part 1

You ran up to the spot in the park where your friends had all gathered. They were talking, trying to come up with some kind of plan. We've never taken on this amount of monsters with only this small amount of people. "We have to split up. Maybe in groups of two so we each have backup." Percy spoke as everyone agreed.

The monsters were getting closer and you even had to duct when a fury flew overhead. Your friends backed up quickly, weapons in hand as you flipped your ring and held your sword tightly. "So what's the plan? Do we have like teams or do we just randomly go with whoever?" Leo asked and everyone turned  to him.

"Seriously Leo? Ugh, just, it doesn't matter! Whoever's closest to you." Piper said as her and Annabeth linked arms.

"Okay, Franky boy I guess it's me and you." Leo grinned as Frank grumbled in annoyance.

Nico paired up with Hazel, leaving Percy, Jason, and you. "(Y/n) go with Jason I'm okay alone."

Jason looked at Percy and shook his head. "Are you kidding? You won't last five minutes alone with all of them. You should pair up with (y/n). I'm good alone."

"So your trying to say I can't last out there alone but you can? Wow dude I can't believe you. You'll die!" Percy scoffed.

"I will not."

"Yes you will."

"Percy-" You rolled your eyes as you stared at Percy and Jason. They were being absolutely ridiculous.

"Unbelievable. Okay ladies you know what? The smartest thing would be to get in a group of three, but I don't even know if I wanna stick you two. How about I do you a favor and let the two of you pair up. Cause clearly you both are going to need your asses saved." You grumbled as you walked away.

Percy and Jason stared after you in shock before turning to the rest of your friends. "You know damn well, she would be the only one out of all of us to fight them alone and survive." Nico shrugged.

You stood still as the same fury from earlier landed in front of you, growling and screeching in anger. "You here for more? Bring it on and I'll show you the same fate as your other friends!" You shouted.

When the fury attacked, it didn't take you long to slice through it and kill it. You just weren't having it today.

"Who's next?" You shouted towards the approaching army.

Your friends now stood behind you, all of them ready to attack. As you waited, your eyes shifted over to a figure who emerged from the crowd of monsters. A man in Black with a kabuki mask floated in the air with the support of micro bots. You squinted your eyes, trying to figure out who the man was.

"Who's is that?" Hazel wondered aloud as everyone turned their attention to him.

"I don't know, but he seems awfully familiar." You replied as you stepped forward.

"(Y/n), wait." Nico said as he grabbed your wrist to pull you back.

"Whoever that is up there, he's human. There's no way he should be able to see any of this. I have a bad feeling and I don't like it one bit." He warned and you looked at the confused look on Nico's face.
