You were leaning against the bathroom wall as you locked yourself inside and turned on the shower. You let the water run, drowning out the sound of the knocking on the door. Pulling your knees up to your chest, you rocked your body back and forth as you hyperventilated. "Breathe breathe breathe." You chanted, trying to calm yourself.

You weren't ready to tell Tadashi yet but you knew that it wasn't Aunt Cass's fault that she slipped up. Keeping this whole thing a secret was eating you up inside but you weren't ready to say it aloud to Tadashi. Thinking about having a kid right now frightened you, but not because you didn't want it. Because after all that has been happening, you didn't want to put anyone else in danger.

You knew that when you had this baby, you would love it more than anything in the world. And the fear of losing that kind of love frightened you more than wanting to experience that love and joy of having a child. A child created from yourself and the love of your life, Tadashi. You'd seen too many people die in your life, and even though there was no guarantee that your child would die, anyone with demigod blood was in danger from more than just bad people out in the world.

"(Y/n) please, open the door." Tadashi's muffled voice called out behind the door before you heard soft knocks again.

"I can't. I don't know how to do this. I can't." You spoke to yourself before you shook your head.

Another knock sounded a little louder than the one before and you stopped your rocking for a second. "(Y/n), it's going to be okay."

It was Percy, and the sound of his voice calmed you. You knew that he could feel the intensity of your emotions and you were grateful he could understand how you were feeling. Before your friends, and before Tadashi, Percy had always been your rock in times of crisis as you were his. The two of you understood one another and that was the best part of your relationship.

"Open up to him. It's going to be okay." He reassured again and you nodded to no one in particular.

His words soothed you and you stood up from your spot on the floor. "It's going to be okay." You whispered to yourself as you stood in front of the mirror.

I am a demigod who helped saved the world from Gaea, I've killed monsters, and escaped a kidnapping. I could say a few words to Tadashi without breaking down. You thought to yourself.

After splashing some water on your face, you took a few more deep breaths before shutting off the shower and unlocking the door. You peeked your head out to see Percy and Tadashi. Your fiancés worried face softened we he saw your glossed over eyes. Percy gave a curt nod before turning on his heels and walking back down the stairs.

"I'm sorry." You said weakly. You wanted to sound normal but when your voice cracked you had to bite your lip to keep from crying.

"I didn't mean to run away, it's just-" You paused as you took a shaky breath.

Tadashi gently pulled you into him as he hugged you. "Don't apologize. I didn't mean to make you afraid to tell me something. You know you can tell me anything."

You nodded against his chest as you sniffled. After a good minute of crying, Tadashi pulled you into his bedroom and sat you down on the bed. He quickly grabbed some tissues so that you could wipe your eyes as he closed the door for some privacy. Tadashi took a seat in a chair and patiently waited for you to speak.

"So, tell me what's on your mind. What happened?" He spoke softly and you nodded.

"Well this whole thing started when we were sent to the hospital after Colton kidnapped me. I had asked the doctor to let me donate blood but he told me that there could be risks because, because I was eight weeks pregnant." You watched carefully as Tadashi's face changed from confusion, to realization, and then to worry.

"So you knew there were risks with you and the baby but you still did it?" Tadashi said referring to the blood transfusion not too surprised by the baby news.

"Yeah, but I knew it would be fine. You had jumped in front of a bullet for me, the least I could do was donate my blood. I couldn't let you die. Anyways that's beside the point." You pouted and he smiled fondly.

"Sorry. So you've known for three weeks that you were about two months along and didn't tell me? Why?" He asked as he took your hand in his.

"I was scared and confused, not to mention you were still recovering. I was going to wait until you were better but then we found out about your powers and it made me want to push back telling you even more. But my morning sickness betrayed me and now we're here."

Tadashi shrugged, "you say that like it's a bad thing."

"Were you scared that I wouldn't be happy? Or I wouldn't accept? Or were you afraid because you're not ready yet?" Tadashi asked and you looked at your lap.

"Everything I guess. I wasn't expecting it, I wasn't ready, I didn't know how you would feel, I was afraid that something bad would happen because being a demigod is so dangerous. But mostly I was afraid of losing the most precious thing you and I have ever created. A baby is no joke and I don't know how to do things like this." You explained and Tadashi nodded.

"I can understand why you're afraid but it'll be okay. I know you weren't ready when you found out but now we have eight months to prepare. I am more than thrilled because I'm going to be a father and I'm marrying the love of my life. I know that being a demigod is dangerous but our baby with have nine amazing demigods and seven robotics major heroes to help protect them. We'll be fine and so will our baby. I love you so much, and I won't let anything happen to either one of you." Tadashi kissed your hand and you smiled at him.

"How did I end up so lucky? You're too good to me Tadashi Hamada." Your hands found his cheek and you kissed it softly.

"I'm the lucky one. You're having our baby, and if he or she looks anything like you then they are blessed." Tadashi's compliment made you blush and you giggled as he scooped you up into his arms.

"We're going to have a family! I'm so excited!" He spun a few time with you in his arms and you laughed.

"Well I'm glad to see that you're more optimistic than I thought." He grinned from ear to ear before placing you back on your feet.

"Hell yeah I am."

As you and Tadashi went to go open the door to go downstairs, you froze as piles of bodies came falling through the door. "Ow!" You stared in shock as your friends from New York crumpled to the floor on top of each other due to them leaning on the door when it opened.

"Looks like we have some eavesdroppers." Tadashi smirked and you blinked a few times to confirm their presence.

"What the heck? When did you guys get here?" You asked wide eyed.

"A few hours ago." Hazel smiled and Jason nodded. "Percy called us a few days ago to come down again."

Leo pried his way out of the pile before sitting on his butt, "yeah I mostly wanted to see what a gun shot wound looks like though. Tadashi do you mind taking off your shirt?"

You laughed at that and Nico shook his head. "You're an idiot Leo. Ow, Frank get off."

After a moment of struggling and Piper getting one of her braids stuck in Annabeth's belt buckle, your friends stood up on their feet. You raised a brow at them as they all had wide smiles on their faces. "Why are you guys smiling?"

Of course, Leo was the first to chime up. "Because we're happy of course! You guys are going to be parents!"

"Congratulations!!" Your friends all said in unison and you gave an awkward laugh.

"Well, thanks."
