The sound of rattling chains echoed in the abandoned warehouse you were being held captive in, as one of Colton's men restrained you. Your arms were secured tightly behind your back and your ankles bounded by a thick chain that attached to the wall beside you. You were able to walk about six feet before the chain would strain and echo. Your surroundings were empty except for a metal door at the end of the room and a single chair that sat next to the wall by your restraints.

It had been about an hour since you were brought into the building and the drugs were still in effect. You sat silently on the floor and stared blankly ahead as you allowed yourself to be man handled. Once your restraints were on, the man admired his handy work before pulling out a cigarette.

"You want one?" He asked amusingly as he crouched down in front of you.

Your bored eyes glanced at the unlit cigarette before slowly drifting to his face. The man with a deep cut above his lip and left brow, waited patiently for an answer as his brown eyes bore into yours. "Where is Colton." Was all you said, not bothering to answer his question.

The man shrugged before placing the cigarette to his lips. "Your loss. And Colton's, out. He'll be here soon though. "

White smoke filled your vision as the man exhaled, leaving you to inhale the burning stench of cigarettes. You turned your head as you scrunched up your face in disgust. You never liked the smell of those cancer sticks.

The man fully sat on the floor in front of you and you leaned your head against the wall tiredly. You felt lazy, a little bit nauseous, and out of it. You wanted the drugs to wear off so that you could find a way to escape. Colton was not getting away with any of this and you were going to make sure of that.

"So is it true what he said? You're really something magical?" The man spoke up almost as if he were truly intrigued by who you were.

Your head rolled on the wall as you looked at him. He sat with his cigarette as he waited for you to reply. All you could do was raise a brow and slur out a "magical?"

"Yeah, you have powers or something right? So are you like a witch? Do you have magic?" He asked, his eyes lighting up like he was a child asking if Santa Clause was real.

Every bit of fury in you wanted to crush that childlike spirit of his because of Colton. The man wasn't a friend. He wasn't smart enough to do the right thing and let you go, and he wasn't dumb enough for you to trick. So you unleashed your inner bitch and decided to go with tormenting him just like Colton would soon do once he arrived.

You slowly leaned forward with a smile, watching as the man leaned in too as if you were about to tell him a secret. Then you whispered twelve words into his ear that you knew would give you the reaction you wanted.

"I'm not a witch and I don't have powers. Magic isn't real." You watched as his small smile of anticipation fell into a deep frown.

His reaction satisfied you and you smirked before leaning your head back onto the wall. "That's a lie. Colton said you were some kind of mythical thing that could catch fire."

You glared at him as he huffed like a child. "I'm not a thing, you moron. And if I were "magic" like you say I am, then why am I still here? I would've been long gone by now."

"That's because the drugs are stopping you." He growled and you rolled your eyes.

"Bite me."
