A/N: I'm so sorry for not updating. I've had a chest infection and school is being poopy. Anyways F/D in this story means favourite drink so uhh yeah.
Ranpo's POV:
"Yosano, I'm begging youuu!" I pleaded while shaking the chair she was in. She looked up at me and raised a brow then sighed. I stopped shaking it, as she turned her chair to face towards me.
"Well have you at least thought of an idea?" She asked. I put my hand to my chin in a thinking position. Hmm....I shook my head no and pouted. Yosano sighed one more time as she tapped her pen and started thinking.
"Why don't you take her to a cafe then the movies or even a theme park? Most people would want a day out where they can eat before doing something fun." Yosano said. My face brightened up.
"Yosano your a genius!" I exclaimed with a wide grin on my face, putting my hands in the air like a child. Yosano nodded in response then went back to work. I walked away, going to my super secret safe full of special snacks, opening it and grabbing some snacks out of the stash.
I walked back to my desk, opening up the chips I got and grabbing out a pen and paper. So I think this is what will happen.
First, I'll go to Y/N's apartment and pick her up.
Next, We'll take a cab, halfway on the way to the way to the cafe, we'll get off then walk.
After, we order a bunch of food we'll go to the movies/theme park.
It's perfect! I bet Y/N will love the day out! I hope she doesn't feel bored on that day...
All these random thoughts then started coming to my head. What if she doesn't come? What if she cancels? No Ranpo, your the best detective and this is how she is paying off her debt! A day with the ultimate detective! But what if she's doing it to pay off debt? No, she said she'll do anything to pay off the debt and she was happy and okay with it.
I started scribbling down the plan, what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. I soon started to think this plan looked boring and decided to draw me and Y/N having the best day together! I stuffed my mouth with more snacks, still drawing the plan.
Y/N POV:
I wonder what Ranpo has in plan for our little date. Can I call it a date? Well, he did ask me out so I guess I can. I opened the door to Cafe Uzumaki, sitting down at one of the stools again. The waitress came up to me and put down my (f/d).
"So did you gamble again Miss Y/N?" The waitress asked grabbing a broom from the corner and started sweeping the floor.
"Come to think of it, I haven't gambled since I met Ranpo. He invited me to his agency and I've gotten a job there. Now I'll be going on a day out with Ranpo." you said with a smile. You haven't talked to the workers for a while so it felt great talking to them again.
"Well I guess that is very good Miss Y/N. Congrats on your job too, seems like you and the detective have been getting along quite well." the waitress said, still dusting the floor.
"Yeah, I'm surprised he's even making me pay off my debt with him by going out with him. I thought he'd ask for a cart full of snacks." you replied taking a sip from your drink.
"Maybe Ranpo just likes you."
"Hm? Whaddya mean?"
"Maybe Ranpo doesn't know how to say how he really feels about you so he's taking it one step at a time. But the real question is, do you like Ranpo?" the waitress questioned.
I pursed my lips and put a finger to my chin and thought in silence. Do I really love Ranpo? I mean, he's cute, smart, childish and we do have a lot in common. He makes my heart skip a beat when I'm around him. His fluffy brown hair is cute and his eyes...when he opens his eyes to show his emerald eyes...their gorgeous.
"I don't know...I get really happy when I'm around him though!" I exclaimed pushing my cup a bit forward and giving it to the waitress.
"Well, that answers the question then," she said, going away to wash the dirty cup. I watched her leave as her words repeated in my head.
Do I love Ranpo?
Yes...yes I do.
