Kenji's POV:

"I don't think you'll be able to save Y/N."

Both of our eyes widened in both confusion and shock. I wonder what he meant by that. I kept the same smile on my face, relaxing my body just a bit.

"Excuse me sir, but what do you mean by that?" I asked, ripping one of their fancy tables off the ground and twisting the metal leg off.

He dusted off his coat and cleared his throat. He turned around and faced the other carts.

"Y/N is dying as we speak. The boss loved Y/N like a mother, even though she wasn't in the organization. Boss was furious when she found out Y/N wasn't going to shed blood for her. So now she'll kill her. She will make sure she's dead in front of your eyes, if your lucky. If not, you'll see her in a pool of blood." He said calmly, cocking his head back towards us.

Y/N, die? In front of us?

Atsushi covered his mouth as his hand shooked. I felt a drop of salty water dripping down my cheek. Sweat and tears.

We can't let Y/N die! Ever since she joined, she's made a massive impact on all of us, especially Ranpo.

Small flashback:

I tended to the flowers, trying to make them stand straight with a wooden stick and rope.

"Ah, no matter how hard I try, it keeps falling down," I sighed, wiping off the sweat off my forehead. I adjusted my hat before trying to position the flower in a different pots, positions etc. Nothing worked.

'Alright! One last time!'

I cracked my knuckles, then was about to untie the rope that was gently trying its best to hold the flower without strangling it. A small glow emitted from the flower as from the bottom of the stem started suddenly growing stronger.

What was happening?

From the stem to petals, to the pollen that imploded from out of it gently, it was a fascinating sight.

"That's better," a voice said from behind. I turned my head around to see Y/N! I got up from kneeling down to go greet her.

"Morning Ms Y/N! Thank you for saving my sunflower! I've had it for a while but for some reason when I came back this morning, it was pretty dead, but thanks to you, it's alive!" I cheered, smiling at her.

"Eh, it was nothing. I doubt you've done nothing wrong to it. Maybe a cat or something got to it," she said, gazing at the sunflower, standing there in its glory.

"It's a pretty garden out here Kenji, do you take care of it?" she questioned as we both looked around. I nodded as grins both came to our faces.

"Well, if you don't mind, is there anything I can do to help maybe? Ranpo is out on a case and I don't really know what to do now." she said, letting out a awkward laugh.

"Sure! it'd be nice to have some company!" I exclaimed.

End of flashback.

Atsushi's POV:

I saw Kenji, he was crying? It was the first time I've seen him cry, but it was understandable. Y/N was going to die if we don't save her in time and, Kenji and Y/N are close friends at the moment.

I felt his sympathy, getting ready to strike another attack but Kenji lifted up his hand in a 'stop' signal. I did what I was told, mostly because I was a bit confused.

Kenji gripped the metal pole in his hand tighter, denting it. It clicked in my head as I stood back a bit as the train's floor started to crack.

Kenji was enraged.

We only know one thing, never get Kenji mad. Even though it's a rare occasion, you'd never want to get in his way.

Kenji leaped forward swiftly at the man with his weapon raised in the air, only for the man to step back in return. The fight continued as I stood there pretty helpless.

What should I do?

I looked around the setting and saw chairs, slowly shaking up from the ground. His ability!

I stood a couple of meters behind Kenji as the chairs flew towards us, I punched and kicked a few, turning them from polished furniture with velvet pillows, into ripped up fabric and wood chips.

Kenji kept  swinging the pole in his hand, managing to land a few hits. Now that one small problem has been solved, time to get rid of the next!

I dashed towards the wall as Kenji threw the pole towards him. It missed him by an inch but it left him just where we wanted. I leaped off the wall, pushing him out the window. I felt a bit bad but shook it off as he rolled away.

"Now, further we go!"

A/N: Ack I'm on Holidays now! Hooray! After 3 years of failing the same topic in maths, I finally passed! Yuh
